I'm trying to find a good double stroller to buy. I have a 15 month old and am due in May with my 2nd child. Does anyone know of a good double stroller to buy that isn't too expensive?

I recently bought a Baby Trend Double Sit n' Stand stroller. I found it at Target and it was $160. The nice thing about it is you can put a carseat or two in it or use it without carseats and you can change the back seat to where your older child can stand rather than sit. It's a little expensive, however I will get a lot of use out of it. I haven't used it yet since I'm due in April but I love it and it's really easy to put together. I did it all by myself just a week ago! :) lol

I have a 17 month old daughter but before I had her I was a nanny for ten years. That experience allowed me to try out a lot of differentt strollers! If you want one that will also accomodate an infant carrier I would tell you to get the Peg Perego Aria Double, it is aside by side with a 60/40 split so the carrier would go on the 60 side and the older child would get the 40. It also has the snack/cup holder child bar across the front. I believe the Combi twin traveller also will hold a carrier. It is also side by side but it folds very compactly! If the carrier is not an issue the Maclaren is a very nice stroller but is more expensive than the others.

With those experiences I ended up getting the Maclaren Techno XLR for my daughter, because it will also hold the infant carrier and just a few months ago I bought a Combi Helio for those occassions when I need a smaller stroller. I personally will be getting the Combi double when we have our second.
