ya she takes them out and hands them to me cuz she knows she isnt supposed to have them if they arent in her ears. but it happens every night now so and they are character earrings with turtles and lady bugs and stuff like that.

is it studs or proper rings? she probably just discovered it and playing with it. i don't think you should worry about it hurting her, a mom knows when somethings wrong. just be careful that she doesn't swollow it...

Walmart sells todler earings that the backs screw on. They also have to be screwed off. My niece did the same thing with hers and when we switched to these she couldnt get them out anymore and stopped playing with them. These earrings are hypoallergenic so they wont break your child out. If shes not red or has any bumps on her lobes front or back then shes just exploring. She just found a new toy. As far as them hurting her I doubt it. Kids generally wont mess with them if theyre hurting. They generally will just touch them and thats it but not mess with them to the point of getting them out.

I had my girls ears pierced at two weeks old. My oldest is almost two, she doesnt even reaslize her earings but she sees her sisters, I dont know about her playing with them... you could take them out they might not close. Its probly her just wanting to play with her ears good luck

how old was she when she got them pierced? I got my daughters ears done at 8wks and 9wks old so by the time they were 18mnths and playing, it wasn't a big deal.

if they don't look red or anything i would say that she just realized they are there and is curious as t owhat they are. kinda like just another body part she is exploring?

My son, 12 months, pulls his ears all the time. The earrings could be bothering her, or they could just be something to play with. Her goal may also be to play with her ear rather than with her earrings. That could just be for play, it could be dry skin, it could actually be displaced teething pain, or it could be an ear infection. However, unless she's had a cold recently or has a fever or something, an ear infection is unlikely (although if you're concerned, definitely get it checked out).

As for the earrings, I would take them out and let the holes close. If she's playing with the earrings, then they're probably just going to get lost or she could hurt her ear. I had to have my ears redone, and it wasn't a big deal at all, so I wouldn't worry about that at all.
