I had a c section too and since the birth (15 months ago) my periods hav been all over the place, heavy, spotting, u name it!! B4 that I had regular normal periods. I just think it is the hormone levels in your body being different. I dunno if it has 2 do with c sections though.

I am not sure from a medical stand point, I have endometriosis and had a c-section just over a year ago for my first child. My cramping was almost not existant but the bleeding was pretty heavy for awhile, and as of my last cycle the cramping was pretty bad...went to the ob he said to get pregnant lol.

yah I had a csection with my son nearly 8 years ago, and without birth control, my flows were very heavy, painful, and erratic. Try talking to your gyno about a birth control that will help your flow. But as a heads up, dont get the shot, women with heavy periods that get the shot, you bleed very little for like 10 days in a row. NOT FUN

My second daughter was born 8 months ago via emergency c- section. I went from having a 5 day period with one heavy day to 7 day period with 2-3 heavy days.

the same thing happened to me. my daughter is 10 months now, and my periods are awful. i'm hoping that after some time they will get better. either that or buying stock in tampax and always!

I had a vaginal delivery and have had very heavy periods since. My doctor told me that it basicly has to do with my body knowing what it is doing now and my hormones being better regulated. Apparently it means that my body is making a better lining now so that when/if I got pregnant again the egg would have a better place to implant into.

I had my daughter 15 months ago via c-section and ever since then my periods are also heavy, my doctor says your body changes and things don't really go back to the way they were. I went from having my period for 3 days with only one heavy day to 5 days with 4 heavy days.
