When my daughter was a baby I sang mostly What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong and You Give me something by James Morrison. I just love those songs and so did she. She is two years old and now we sing this song I made up that goes Ma Ma Ma Mommy, I love my mommy. Ma Ma Ma It's the mommy song, I love my mommy. She goes crazy when we sing it and dances around. I have a daughter version too. Sometimes I catch her playing by herself singing it and I smile cause I know how much she loves me. She loves the wheels on the bus too.

Brahm's Lullaby has been a favorite for all 3 of my children, and of course Twinkle Little Star. My youngest, Alexander LOVES his Glowworm. (I don't know if you have heard the songs that the "Gloworm"s plays). He is calmer at night (especially when we are away and I FORGOT his glow worm) when I start humming the little tunes it plays. I can't be the only one to do this. :-)

I think mine are werid song to sing but then again I'm a weird person. Keiren will only calm down to "Jingle bells" and sometimes Brahms lullaby but not usually. I was a voice performance major in college so I sing her a bunch of songs in the different languages I know and she loves it. My husband sings "10 little monkeys" and he hates it when I am singing her me "opera songs" lol.

"You are my Sunshine!" I've sang that song to Tabby since birth, and no matter what she's doing, Crying, playing...She always completely stops and looks at me where ever i am in the room, and she just smiles! ahh it melts my heart every time! oh, and in the car. If she's fussy and can't see me, i start to sing, and it calms her down every time!!

Right now she likes 2 that I've made up. The 1st I've been singing to her since she was a baby(she just turned 3)

-Who Loves Madi,

Mama Loves Madi.

Who Loves Madi,

Mama Does.

I also add everybody we know names in too. She loves it.

We have been potty training and I now use Jelly Beans as a reward. Her favorite flavor is Tootie Fruity, so I came up with this song. She signs along as she can't really talk.

-Tootie Tootie Fruity,

Shake Your Little Bootie,

You Went Pee-Pee (or) Poo-Poo,

In Your Potty!

After she signs that she's a big girl.

Those are "our" songs, and we love them♥

My daughter loved the Pretty Baby. I don't know if my mom made it up or if it is a real song "Pretty baby, your the baby. Every body loves a baby thats why we are in love with you. Pretty baby, your the baby" She also like most songs by the Beatles or Jonny Cash. "Yesterday" almost always calms her down. She will be 2 this month.

Ella has many favourites. She is 10 months old and a total music baby. We have CDs, singing time, and a few music play groups we do.

Her favourite tune I sing to her to calm down "You Are My Sunshine" but to hear on the player, "Peace in the Valley" by Elvis

For bouncey play she loves the "Grand Ol' Duke of York"

For actions she loves "Twinkle Twinkle" and the "5 Little Ducks" and just recently "Skinameriky" (spelling may be off on that one...)

Yankee Doodle! It usually makes her laugh, especially while bouncing her on my knee. Second fave is itsy-bitsy spider with all the hand movements.

I've been singing "All My Loving" by the Beatles since my son was born. Now, when he's fussy in the car I put it on and he just "sings" along with it. Its really funny. Also, just recently we visited my sister and she sang "Baby Shark. Doot Doo Doot Doo Doo" (its a funny little clapping song) and he just LOVED it. He's 20 months, so he'll start clapping and go "doo doo doo doo"

Honestly we have a whole song routine that we go through almost every night. The first song we sing is The Little White Duck, ( my mom used to sing it to me) Of course the next song is Hush Little Baby, then we sing Rock A Bye Baby, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and finally we sing Lullaby and Goodnight. I usually pick a number between 1-20. Then the 2 girls try to guess the number. The closest one gets to choose the first song and sing it by herself, Then the next one gets to do the same. But at the end mommy sings them Lullaby and Goodnight.. It gets tireing but I love the way it makes them smile..
