Feeling anxious about leaving for a few days

Hello! I am having a hard time with the decision of going away. I've left my one year old over night a couple times but I would like to go away for about 4-5 days.... Thinking about it makes me feel like I have anxiety! She doesn't sleep 100% through the night and I worry about the people watching her. It would be her grandparents. I'm just not sure if I should go. Would it stress her out alot or would she be fine? I'm a stay at home mom so I'm with her all the time. Any advise from you other moms? I feel so anxious and scared to leave her.

Hope you have a great time, and dont worry.. i cried when we left.A little tip: keep the goodbye short, i found it worse to say 10 times goodbye and still go give 10 kisses etc. lol
Give her a big hug and kiss say goodbye and dont turn around=)

I say do it...you deserve a break. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 girls (3 and 15months). My husband and I went away for 3 days and like you was very anxious and worried about leaving them, because I am with then 24/7, sleep with them in the same bed, and still nursing my little one at night. But my girls we fine, they were with their grandma and aunt and I would text my sister in law from time to time to get pictures of them. When we returned the girls just smiled and kept on playing, so they were not stressed at all. Just make sure you leave your baby with someone he/she is comfortable and have them plan some fun activities to pass time. Good luck

My little one is 11 months and I leave her over night at gramas a few times a month since she was 3 months, the longest I have left her is 5 nights and it was awesome. My advice is to choose caregivers you trust. When I'm out I want to relax and not think about my kid every 5 seconds. As a work at home parent its important to get a break, we are people not just moms. Good luck.

Thank you so much that makes me feel better.i think we're gonna do it. Ill probably cry the whole flight LOL but I'm sure ill be fine when we leave. I think it's the leading up to it that's so scary for me. Being a mom is so hard sometimes lol

i understand how you are feeling, my husband and i went on holiday for 1week a couple of days after our son turned 1.Im also a SAHM, He was by my mom. I trust my mom and my son adores her, so i didnt have any problem with leaving him by her. I was very sad the day we left,but he had a great time with his granny.So did we,i missed him everyday but i told myself i have to enjoy the holiday and not be sad.The time i spent with my hubby was great. If you trust her grandparents then dont worry to much, enjoy your time and believe me it will be great to come home and see her happy! P.s i have never let my son sleepover anywhere before and i am also used to having him by me 24-7.
