Well birthday parties can certainly become a very expensive event! I went all out for my son's birthday. In all honesty there is no need for it it goes by soo quickly! Just over flood the room with balloons and banners you can buy for very cheap. John Deere sounds like a great theme. I wouldn't go all out on a keepsake either, because in all seriousness people will just throw it to the corner. Just buy inexpensive dollar store toys, along with candy and fill up treat bags.

I went to a party the other day for a little boy and the mom had a great idea for her pirate theme..she bought bandannas with pirates /skulls on them and folded all of the candy inside, she wrapped it with a cute party themed ribbon that had X's on it and it had a little sword sticking outside of it so that the kids can grab it easier. The bandannas were only 4/1.00 at Michaels.. plus its reusable -just an idea ,instead of using those cheap bags!
