My daughter turns 1 on January 5th and we are having a party for her on the 8th. I am sick of serving the same old things and want to try some different kid friendly things. So I would love any suggestions from finger foods to adult food. Thanks!

Pin wheels, pigs in a blanket, crackers and cheese, veggies with dip, fresh fruit, homemade mac and cheese, cream cheese finger sandwiches, homemade chicken nuggets, potato salad, pasta salad, pizza, shredded bbq chicken in the crock-pot, meatballs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut into fun shapes, kabobs...we went with pizza, fresh salad, a fruit tray and lots of yummy stuff to drink for our son's 1st birthday, we also had about 50 mouths to feed so it was easiest. I hope I've been helpful. Good luck and enjoy! :)

A messy cake is needed at least. For my daughters first, I did minced meat and potatoes for the adults and I can't fully remember but I think for the kids I did something simple like hot dogs and fries/chips or something like that.
