Hi everyone, I am the mother of three, my kids are 9, 7, and 3. My husband and I had some problems about a year and half ago. I took one good look in the mirror and decided to change........well everything. Not that I wanted to change for him, I wanted to change for me. I guess you can say it was a wake up call. For some reason I thought I married Superman, or my prince charming and I could let myself go and everything would be alright. I didnt like the person I seen in the mirror anymore. So I started working out and changing my eating habits. I have lost fifty pounds, and I can honestly say I really like the way I look in the mirror now, and the way my clothes look on me. I like the looks I get. Just one problem no matter how much I work out or do I have this baby pouch. My lower abs look awful, I dont know if it is because I have had three c-sections I just dont know. It sticks out and sags. PLEASE if anyone has an advice I would appreciate it. As long as it dont fall in the lines of surgery. 1)Can't afford it and 2) Im not comfortable going under the knife unless medically necessary. Thanks!

i gave birth 10 weks ago, back in my size 8's. I used to be so fit used to dance a lot so i was very body concious. I lost i when i was pregnant due to looking after my dad as i found out a 30 weeks he has cancer so i ate and ate and ate for comfort. I was so depressed about myself after giving birth and i'd look at photos and think god i look fat, i decided to join a gym, the best think ive ever done! i go 2ce a week to combat classes absolutely kills me with all the sit ups/ martial arts but ive got my belly back (plus a few stretch marks but shhhh ;-)) keep at it, the wii fit didnt help me nor did trying to do it at home. good luck you can do it x

Congrats on loosing the weight! I was working my but off trying to loose something, but just couldn't. Now I'm pregnant again and can't risk trying to loose weight. I am, however working this time on making sure I continue to eat right thought out the entire pregnancy. Once you have the eating down (which it sounds like you do), you need to focus on any and all mussels where that baby belly is. Since you've had 3 kids they've been stretched out pretty good, you just need to work them back into shape.

Do you have a gym membership that includes free classes? Try to see what they may offer, and see if any focus on that part of your body. I've had several friends use classes like that to help with them. There may even be some classes geared specifically to getting back into shape after pregnancy, that focuses on bringing those mussels back into shape.

I have the very same problem and i'm sorry but the only way i see mine getting smaller is weight loss, it's skin and fat so thats what i just keep working at. Also work at your pelvic floor muscles (palates or yoga) I have had 2 c-section and i don't think that help at all. Good luck
