You can get Aquaphor almost anywhere, Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores, and any pharmacy. And it does not require a prescription.

So I went to see the doctor and Kathy does not have eczema. So far I have been using vaseline and its helped a little I'll stick with it a bit longer and see if her skin gets better. In case it doesn't do the job fully where can I get Eucerin Aquaphor? is it something that has to be prescribed?

All of my kids suffer from eczema. The dermatologist told me to on the little ones to use cetaphil in the tub and vaseline as much as you can. Right my both my twins, their bums are severly chapped. But now that they are over two I can use hydrocortizone cream.

My daughter has eczema and her skin on her face and legs gets dry and crusty. I recently started using Gold Bond Ultimate healing Concentrated Therapy. It cleared her skin up in about two days. I bought it at k-mart. hope this helps : )

I had the same problem with my son when the cold weather started...use Eucerin Aquaphor! It is great for dry skin and will help protect from windburn when you take her outside. It is also recommended to use a humidifier in your home during the cold weather months when the air is to dry. This is to keep some moisture in the air, helping the skin not to be so drained of it's moisture.

Just bought Eucerin Aquaphor because of what I read on CoM. My daughter's cheeks were red and dry for a while and nothing I tried worked. This stuff worked right away and I've only put it on twice so far.

try using aveeno bath for dry skin and aveeno lotion..they work great for my 3 mos old son..and put 2 or 3 drops of oil in cap of water to rinse after bath

there is produst called 'invisible glove' it is a cream gel that is strong enough to get rid of dermititis but gentle enough to use on baby as it was orinally intended for nappie rash

Eucerin Aquaphor, my son is 8 1/2 months old and he has really dry skin on his whole body right now, it has a lot to do with the weather and the fact we all have the heater on all night. the doctor recommended putting aquaphor on his skin before bed and letting him sleep, it works really good, its fragrance free and has no irritants in it at all. its got the consistency of vaseline.

Thanks ladies I'll give those products a try hopefully one of them works. I'll also make a doctors appointment to find out whether or not she does have eczema.

My 13-month old daughter has always had very dry skin (eczema). We use Eucerin cream. We used to use Cetaphil cream but then our doctor said to switch to Eucerin because even Cetaphil has too much water in it. I think in general "lotions" have more water than "creams" and they are not as helpful. When her skin gets especially bad (when it's really cold and dry), we also use DermaSmooth oil (prescription). We put that on, then the Eucerin on top and that really helps heal the skin. Definitely ask her doctor to get a professional opinion.

my daughter has gotten this very bad this last week it was so bad i thought she might be having an allergic reaction because they were so red...ive been using A&D on it and it helped alot just in a few hours

Does she have exzema? try eucerin lotion. It is free from the johnson products that they use.

Try Burts bees... or there is a company called Noodle and Boo... that specializes in dry skins.. and they smell good. I don't like Johnsons, they have too much chemical sounding ingredients....

My son is the same way. We use Cetaphil (http://www.cetaphil.com/) cleanser and lotion on him. It is really super mild. If his little cheeks get really dry I will also put a little Vaseline or A&D Ointment on them. It is just to help protect them from extra moisture from drool while he sleeps.
