Tis the season :). Halloween is one of the best holidays. I love it. The colors are beautiful, the weather is (usually) perfect. Best of all I can dress however I want to and I don't get crazy stares!!

My boys (ages 5 and 3) have not yet decided what they want to be but, I am sure my youngest will ask for Batman. My oldest usally picks something different each year.

My daughter, 4, did not shock me to much when she asked to be Lady Gaga. Which I am so EXCITED about. I believe Lady Gaga sends a positive message to young girls. I just can not wait to get her all glammed up.

How about everyone else?

i was 19 when i got pregnant so me & my now husband (who i have separated from for 2 years) went trick or treating then bar hopping (i wasn't drinking of course) as a pregnant hooker w/ her pimp lol....i still dress up EVERY year with my children...my oldest's 1st year he was a frog, the next he was a flying rainbow unicorn & my other son was the frog (i was a zebra lady), the year after that my oldest was spiderman, my other son was the unicorn & i was marilyn monore & my husband was spiderman. The 3rd year they were red & black spiderman...i was a hooters waitress, the year after they were bumblebee & optimus-prime from transformers (my girls' dad was a trampy chick lmao! & i was betty boop ;P), last year they were buzz lightyear & woody from toy story (the girls' dad was spiderman) & my now 2nd youngest daughter was a blue angle (which looks like a sparkly princess, like cinderella, with silver wings) & i was rainbow brite....this year i already have the costumes of wolverine for my oldest (now 6), batman for my other son (5), tinkerbell for my daughter (15 months) & of course the blue angel again for my newest daughter (2 months)...my boys had picked superman for their stepfather but he's not around anymore : (, while for me they have picked wonder woman! lol they are really into the super heroes & it's fitting cuz wonder woman was a mom...she would get up with her kids, set them off to school, save the day & be back to have supper on the table....gotta love it!!!

***TIP*** i get excellent costumes from a site costumecraze.com they have much better stuff then what you usually find in the stores & if you order them a little early you get them for 1/2 price, i've been using this site for many many years now & have never had a problem with them!

Ashely, why not get a leatard and die it the blue/green color and do the same with some tights. then find some leg warmers and the pink belt around the middle.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

LOL Brittany you must live somewhere warm and South. Last year when I took my 7 year old trick or treating it snowed!

This year my 7 year old will be a kitty and my 7 month old is going to be a glow worm.

My daughter just made one year old, October 24th. She is going to be a pumpkin like no other. I just need to find her green tights. Wait till you see her costume!! She is not a normal round pumpkin in a hot suit : ) lol.

This is her first Halloween dressing up. Last year she had just been born a few days before Halloween. I didn't dress her up last year.

My lil boy is just going to be 4 1/2 months on Halloween, but I have already bought his costume. He's going to be a Monkey. I call him my lil monkey, so I thought it would be cute. So excited for his first Halloween. Can't wait for his first Christmas either. I am already looking into decorations, ornaments, gifts, etc.

My 5 year old is a dead cheerleader I made her a Chiefs costume, and bought her tights that look like they have stitches and some of the tattoos you put on with water that look like scrapes. My older daughter is a tiger, I made her a hoodie out of tigar print fleece, and pajama pants. I'm a firm believer in having outfits that can be used for other things, or at least for longer than the one holiday.

Hehe that is going to be soo fun! My daughter (age 3 on Oct.29th) and I love Halloween time because it's fun, you get to dress up, and her birthday is soo close to it. I spent her 1st Halloween in the hospital after having her :). Anyway, this year, my daughter was going to be a snow princess, but she changed her mind (no surprise lol) and decided she wanted to be a witch so I went to thrift stores and I found her a cute witch costume and one for me! She looks just like me so it's soo cute to see us together as witches :). Happy haunting

My son has went through different ideas as to what he wants to be, and he is FOUR! He has made up his mind but has done the funniest thing. Everyday he picks up the Party City costume magazine and picks out what he wants to be. His decisions are:

Astro Boy
Red Power Ranger
Optimus Prime
Bumble Bee
The Red Angry Bird

Those are his choices. I guess we will have to just take him very soon so that he can FINALLY pick one out.

Halloween is huge in our house! I have been working my butt off to make my 2 1/2 year daughter a pteranadon costume (Dinosaur Train is our favorite show!). I was thrilled when she picked told me she wanted to be a dinosaur for Halloween. I've always been a huge tomboy, so I am not sure how I will handle the day she tells me she wants to be a princess or fairy.

My first born who is 18 months is going to be a turtle this year. I was so torn between a turte and a giraffe. Thinking back I should have gotten the giraffe. Oh well, next year? And I get to wear a funky pink hat without any stairs. I think it is a cool hat. But Halloween is for sure the only day of the year I will have a chance to wear it :( lol My second son is due November 15th, 2011.
