Hamilton Ontario - any mom's looking for friends?

I am 23 with two children (1yr. old boy Corey, and 2yr. old girl Teah). I only work twice a week and could really use a friend in town who doesn't flee at the sight of children. Looking for play dates and someone to have a girl's night with once in a while too. I moved to Hamilton and almost right away found out I was pregnant. At 19 and 20 no one wants to drink juice and milk with a preggo, so I missed out on forming college friends. Now the kids are a little older, and i still have no friends in Hamilton, it gets very lonely.

Hi Dionne,

I am new to Hamilton to!! Hubby and I moved here in January... I here ya about getting out and about and meeting other moms! I noticed there isn't any mom groups in hamilton? It seems to be hard to meet other mothers. We all need friends and someone who can talk to.. other mothers who can relate to us! Be nice if we can all chat and hang out hopefully sometime... cause with summer around the corner there is lot's of stuff to do with the kids, especially in here in Hamilton!

Totally understand what everyone is talking about! I am a married mommy with a 2 year old girl and expecting baby #2 in October and hubby and I are very excited!! We just recently moved here to Hamilton from Burlington. Even though my hubby is from Hamilton I was born in Toronto then family moved to Oakville and lived there all my life, until I met my hubby and got married then moved to Burlington, but he wanted to be closer to work so we are here in Hamilton. I am to a stay at home mom... And I am lucky enough that I am able to do so, and would not trade it for the world! It would be nice to meet other mothers in this area, and to make new friends, have playdates, and having a "girls night out" once in awhile cause it does get lonely, and we need to get and talk to adults once in awhile lol. Looking forward to chatting and hopefully meeting up sometime with you ladies :)

Currently full-time. Looking for work even if it is part-time. It is usually the kids and I. I know one other mom in Hamilton. She only has one and is more of a home body. I kind of want to get out and about see Hamilton and meet other moms too. I just moved here in February.

Well then you're a busy Mom too! :) My daughter turns 3 in May and my son turns 2 just 5 days later. Most people I talk to are older than I am. Kids really change you. What 23 yr. old wants to hang out with two toddlers that doesn't have any of their own LOL.

So are you a full-time stay at home mom or do you work as well?

Wouldn't mind chatting or maybe meeting. I live in East Hamilton. I am a little older than you. My boys are 3 yrs old and 15 months.
