Has anyone bled and still had a healthy baby?

I am 1 and 1/2 months pregnant and bleedin. this is my third pregnancy and with my first two I never bled but I just started alil bit last night and still am bleeding today but I don't have very bad pains or cramping . do you guys think I will be fine and still have my baby!?

i bled alot when I was 12 weeks along as well. my hubby rushed me to the hospital where we spent about 7 hours in the ER and they tried finding the heartbeat with a doppler and couldn't. i went for an U/S the following monday (this happened on satrday) and there he was all healthy  heartbeat and all. he's now sitting next to me 6.5 mos old 29.5 in long and 21lbs8oz :-) my little man lol. good luck to you.

I did. I took an at home pregnancy test. A week later I was bleeding and when I went to my ultra-sound the Dr told me not to be suprised if I had a miscarraige. However I now have an 8.5 month old baby boy who is happy n healthy. It didnt stop there either. I also bled a couple more time when I got closer to my due date and I rushed to the hospital but everything was fine. Just needed to slow down my activity level.

With my first pregnancy I bled so much. I was told I'd miscarried by the docs at the ER...booked in for a D&C...but the scan before the op showed I was still pregnant. My daughter has Poland Syndrome which has been linked to early trimester bleeding, but then again, many people are born with it and their mothers never bled at all, so its unlike to be linked. With my second daughter, I bled loads and loads again... but she is now a very happy, very bright little girl.

Do you still feel pregnant? If you do, you probably are. The uterus excretes old blood and bleeding during pregnancy is very common. A lot of the time its just your body telling you to tone it down a bit while its working on making a baby. Try and get lots of rest, put your feet up, take some time off work drop all caffine drinks and drink plenty of water. :)

yeah. I was 35 week with my now 2 year old daughter.. I had gone to visit my parents for the a couple of days and one day just woke up cover in blood. To this day they don't know what was wrong but I have a very healthy 2 year old. I was so scared when I saw that I was covered in blood. I thought that I had lived my worst nightmare. But she is fine.

Yes i bled through most of my last pregnancy as i had a blood clot in the womb with the baby but i went on to have a very healthy baby boy who is nearly 10 months and thriving. I hope everything goes well for you =)

Thanks heaps for all your comments. My results came in last night and my HCG level(pregnancy hormone) has dropped from 88 to 61 meaning I have most likely miscarried. Doctor said if I still feel pregnant in a week I can do a urine test but it will most likely be negative. We're sad. We've been trying for about eight months, wanted to have our children close together, but we will try again when I'm ready and in the meantime I'll enjoy time with my gorgeous little girl.

I bled around 4 seperate occasions with my son, who was born 2 days before the due date, perfectly healthy and average weight. I was so stressed though, as I had fallen pregnant with him only days after a miscarriage.

I bled throughout my entire pregnancy and my daughter was (and still is) a very healthy, happy girl. The reason why I bled is because my cervix is slightly tipped out (kinda inside out) and the irritation of the placenta made it bleed. Try to stay calm and see what happens with the blood test. I had a perfectly normal pregnancy the first time, with a healthy baby girl. With my second pregnancy, I was about 1 1/2 months along, and went to the hospital with bleeding...they figured it was an ectopic pregnancy. It turned out that it wasn't, but they told me I would probably be miscarrying soon. Long story short, I had a very light period every month throughout my entire pregnancy! My son was born after a full-term pregnancy, and was completely healthy and perfect. I did find out shortly after that I had a cyst on my ovary that eventually ruptured, and I had to have my ovary removed. But the baby was fine! I'll say a prayer for you and your baby!

Bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy is something I know all to well. My Son is coming up on 10 weeks old but at one point in my first trimester I was actually told by an emerg doctor after he did an ultrasound, that I had miscarried. I was scheduled for a formal ultrasound a couple days later to rule out an ectopic pregnancy and when I was laying on the table being examined all of a sudden I heard a heart beat! I wasn't expecting it as I had been told I was no longer pregnant...turns out I was. I bled for the better part of my first trimester and did not find out what was causing it until I had my first OB appointment. It was discovered that I had a hematoma (blood pocket) growing under the placenta and the fact that I was bleeding was what saved my pregnancy. It was a very painful experience and felt like a really bad period with cramping and nausea everyday. I am glad to say that once the blood pocket was gone I had no more problems as far as bleeding or otherwise during my pregnancy and I am fortunate to say that I have a happy, healthy baby boy named Gray, who was born on February 21st.

Hi i had that hppen to me 3 times. It can also be your bladder. I was also worried and went to hospital every time but i have a healthy son.

hi Natalia. i bled with my 2nd pregnancy, like you, it wasn't a lot but enough to worry me. This happened quite early in my pregnancy, i'd had no problems at all with my first pregnancy so i was convinced something was really wrong. I went in for a scan and cried with relief when i saw the little heartbeat!!! They told me the baby was fine and that 'spotting' is quite common. My daughter is nearly one now and she's perfectly healthy and happy. I hope everything goes well for you and hope this helped.

Not me personally, but a friend of mine, she had some bleeding and was worried but it appeared to just be implantation... has the bleeding for you stopped? if it has then I wouldnt be too worried, try not to worry....
