Thanks Jenn,he has only had the diarreah this one time and it was short lived thank god.He usually has the cough and runny nose, sneezing etc so I guess its normal enough lol.He has only missed maybe 5 days total so far and one of those days was for an EEG test he had.It just sucks because I feel he should be in school everyday but I also do not want to just send him and have him get everyone else sick ugh!Looking forward to spring more and more each day lol =)

My son has missed quite a few days also, although with him it is this pesky cough/cold that WILL NOT go away. My children and I keep passing it around and around. I have actually sent him a few times when he probably should have stayed home because i was scared for him to miss too many day. At his school if your misses a certain amount of days they make a referral to Social Development (IE: CPS) AND I do NOT need them back in my life, I had a case open back in '08 and it just got closed a few months ago, do not wanna go through that BS again. So yeah, he has missed quite a few days. I actually ended up in the hospital from that same cold as I have Asthma so when i get sick my breathing goes to shyt. I am surprised i haven't got a letter home yet regarding his absences. And they want a doctors note but I am not going to bring him to the doctor every time i keep him home, I already know it is just a cold and already brought him to the DR when he first got it, i have no car and two kids so i can't just go to the doctor whenever i need an excuse. I definitely think it is normal though, it is just that time of the year. Winter is almost hear and it is cold season. Although if it is just diarrhea and no other symptoms i would get him checked to be sure because that could have another underlying cause. Good luck hope he is better soon:)
