Has anyone experianced Pre-Term Labor?????

I'm only 22 weeks pregnant and had to call my doctor yesterday and told her whats been going on for the past month and she tells me that i have an infection that could cause pre-term labor. I am sooo scared cause im not that far along yet. I go today to the doctor to have some tests done so they can treat it. She said once they treat it everything else will go back to normal. So hopefully everything will go good. Has anyone else experianced this before?????

I went into pre-term labor at 6 months with my first because of a UTI. They gave me something to stop the labor and then after the anti-biotics, I didn't have trouble with labor again. I did have a lot of braxton hicks for the rest of the pregnancy though. The antibiotics should help.

I have heard of it and I know that once its treated everything should be fine unless you get the infection again.
I didnt have that problem but I did go into labor at 30 weeks and was sent to the hospital. I was so scared because it was to early. After being on an IV and antibiotics all night the labor stopped and I didnt have problems after that. If you trust your doctor then listen to what she says and believe her. If you dont trust her then change docs!
