Having trouble getting my daughter to use to bathroom...

Not what you think though... Whats going on is, she seems to be scared to go to the bathroom by herself or in certain bathrooms... The only bathroom she wants to go in is my mom and dads bathroom and she will hold in her poop and pee and i dont know why! She is 4 years old and she dont have "accidents" or anything, she will just be sitting there and doing a kinda pee pee dance and if you ask her if she has to pee, she gets real defensive and says "NO"... But i know she does... Can this be a serious problem or do i need to approach it a different way... Im not sure what to do...

What a great idea!! I would have never thought of that. lol. I will have to get her her own personalized potty cover so she will feel more comfortable going when she has to go! Thanks! :)

try bringing along a potty cover......or toddler lid so you can tranform every potty to her potty and make it a little more relaxing.

Yeah she goes in the bathroom with me and a lot of times she has to pee also. She doesnt seem to be constipated although i am wondering if she has a bladder infection or something b/c she seems to be a little bit "chapped" down "there" and i put diaper rash cream on it to keep it from hurting but i dont know whats causing that either... I dont know if she doesnt wipe well enough when she goes or what...

She sounds pretty normal to me. If she's not having accidents and she DOES go eventually without having constipation or bladder infection issues I wouldn't worry. Will she go with you if you have to go?
