I must go back to work and need a sitter! Has anyone used an online sitter finder?

Thanks for your reply. I am sure I'll put any candidates through an intense screening process as well. I do not want to send her to daycare because I am an EXTREME germ-a-phobe, but I do want her to be around other kids.......

This always scared me. Though, using a private sitter scared me less than bringing the baby to day care. When I had to find one for my girls, I used craigslist and ran the poor lady's through at least a thousand questions. I then set up a play date to see how my girls reacted to her, and how she reacted to the girls. I did this for about a week (once a day) before feeling comfortable enough to leave them alone. I wanted to make sure my children got to know the baby sitter and I wanted to see what she would do under different circumstances.
