my 2 yr old son has woken up every night since cmas eve screaming. not a pain cry but fearful..terrified, its gotten to the point where he freaks out just going near his room. how do i help my lil man??

My boys started having Night terrors at about two, (the youngest really just getting started), not that that makes you feel any better. What I did was I started giving them their bath's right before bed time and then straight to bed with a favorite blanket and stuffed bed buddy, and a night lite. It doesn't help always immediately, but it helped at least get to where they would go back to their rooms without the anxiety. When one of mine start screaming, I just hold and cuddle and talk to them (all of which I am sure you do), and I have even slept with them to show that there is nothing going to bother them or whatever it is that they seem to be trying to tell me is wrong. And for awhile, with my oldest, he slept with us. Hope even a portion of this helps you and your Lil Man.
