for the past month or so ive not been sleeping well nor can i get comfortable at all. im constantly tossing and turning during the night and just dont feel like im getting the rest that i need for this pregnancy. I wake up every few hours to go to the washroom, yet i try and empty my bladder before bed. and then i usually toss and turn for a bit before falling asleep again :( im not comfortable sitting or laying down. i never had this problem with my first pregnancy. I cant even stand being to warm cause i feel sick :( i go and see my doctor tomorrow and im going to mention this but oh my god this is really starting to suck! i love being pregnant and i love my baby's daddy because he is being so supportive and understanding and trying to help me get as comfortable as possible. I know this is part of being pregnant but goodness its really starting to suck :(

lol I'm in the same boat, chica. Keep your head up. My first pregnancy was a gitft because I didn't have one bad symptom. This second one? Woah mama, I'm rewriting the What to Expect book for this one - I've had everything you can think of and I'm in my 3rd trimester. I still get sickness throughout the day and I've put on weight with this one. This heat is driving me insane and I only sleep well in the afternoon with a fan blowign on me. It sucks lol.

Good luck!!

Hey, I didn't even think about Melatonin! That was a good call on your Doc's part. I take that as well because I've always had sleeping issues and it actually works pretty well. Good Luck:-)

thank you for the tips. I actually have the bed to myself and kicked the bf outta the bed he sleeps on the couch beside the bed so hes still close. i talked to my doc and she recommended a natural tab called melatonin. so well see how that works. tastes minty so its nice and instantly melts under my tongue. and the only bean bag i have is my sons. but its not big enough. but it does sound like a good idea. ill maybe try it. but even when i raised myself a little that was even a bit uncomfortable. almost done though, i cant wait to meet my baby girl.

I went threw this with my first pregnancy and it was horrible! I feel your pain:-( This may sound stupid but I slept on a HUGE bean bag! It worked wonders! I would even put it on the bed so I could still be sleeping next 2 my husband! Good Luck Hon! Hope things get better for you!

thank you for that tip. I have tried sleeping with a pillow between my knees. at first it was great. now its not really working :( i try to avoid drinking right before bed but sometimes i do have a small sip of juice water. but am usually pretty good. its just kinda frustrating :(

When I was pregnant with my son I was HUGE!!! I found sleep was better if I had a pillow in between my legs, or my husband.lol. Plus I have 2 couches, one pulls out into a bed and has a board under it so its harder, and the other one is softer. I often found sitting on the harder couch was more comfterable. I still had to change positions all the time but it was better. As for the peeing all I can suggest is trying not to drink anything 2 hours before bed. You still may need to get up once but it may be better. Good luck.

You know what really kind of makes it funny.....my girl is a way better baby than my son and he was what I thought was a perfect baby. She is quieter and more laid back. Just don't get to the point where you throw a glass of water at your man because its not cold enough....I felt really bad after but it just kind of happened.....and my husband just made another one and didn't even complain.

I know what your going threw, my second pregnancy was the same way. With my first I could go to sleep any time and sleep forever and with my daughter it was hell. My husband told me its because boys are easier and girls just cause pain....I'm gonna show him pain..jk now that our daughter is almost 5 months I really can't remember what the pain was like.
