The more you breastfeed your baby you should be producing more breast-milk. I know that using a breast pump is not very helpful until you have a set feeding pattern with your baby. I know at time it may seem like your baby is getting enough but just keep breastfeeding on demand and your milk supply should increase.

I went through a period when my daughter was like 5 months old that I swore I wasnt producing enough. I thought I was going to have to switch to formula, which made me sad. But it turns out that babies go through growth spurts and your body has to adjust to the increase in demand for milk. Now, I produce enough for my little girl (who is now 9 months old) with no problem. Just let the baby feed as often as you want and it will come. You can also pump more often too, my sis in law did that and it worked pretty well. Good luck, oh and make sure you are eating enough calories and drinking enough liquids!!!
