ok i will try to make this short as possible...bare with me.

i have been spotting for about a week now and the first day i thought it was just my period starting. (that was sunday night) by wednesday i took a pregnancy test and turns out i am in fact pregnant. still continued to spot so finally went to the doc friday. he basically told me i have a 50/50 chance of keeping the baby or losing it. =(

anyway saturday i went to the ER cause i was having cramps and my spotting had turned into bleeding. they did and ultrasound and told me that yes the baby if there, but its heartbeat is lower than what it needs to be and they spotted a hemorrhage inside of my uterus below the baby. they said that if it was big it would be alarming and if it was small they tend to just go away on their own...mine however is in between so it could get bigger. i have been on strict bed rest all weekend and have had lots of time to google this online but havent found anything like this for an early pregnancy. im 6 almost 7 weeks and everything i come across online is for like way later in the pregnancy.

anyway have any of you been through this or something like this? how did it turn out? im so worried!

In my second pregnancy at the first day of week 12, I stood up and felt a gush, went to the bathroom and was soaked in blood. I was terrified that I was miscarrying and went to the hospital. They said it was fairly common(I don't care how common it is, it's still awful and scary) but did an Ultrasound and the baby was fine, I was put on 2 weeks bedrest, I continued to bleed for a week heavily, then stopped for a few days and started again, had another US and still baby was ok. It was one of the scariest things for me, but Thank God my baby was born normal and healthy. He's a year old now. So there's hope! I would hate to go through it again and I am so sorry that you're having this but hopefully the baby will be fine, Best of Luck!

Im going through the same thing! I am 11 weeks now with my 3rd. About a week ago I started bleeding very heavily and even had some pretty large clots. The dr said I had a small hemorage under my placentia. I had this with my 1st pregnancy and everything turned out fine. There is nothing that you can do about it so try not to stress. Stress will only make it worse. Woman bleed in pregnancies ALL THE TIME. I cant promise you that it will be ok but im sure that it will. Besides dr's usually give you the worse case senerio (especially in the er) so they are not liable. Try to relax and take care of yourself, that is the best medicene.

This must be your 1st baby. Well the only thing that I can say to you is to not worry it will only make the situation worse. Not saying that things are bad. Some people bleed and have healthy babies. I bet you are a been looking everything you can up on bleed too. STOP you going to drive your self crazy The first 3 months are hard enough and you did nothing wrong you will be fine 7 weeks until 1st trimester is done.God got you and the baby! i have 3 of my own ps dont buy them prenancy books or for that matter don't watch Baby story the will make you crazy LOL

i had some medium spotting from about week 6-10. you have to remember its a very crazy thing for your body to go through especially when the placenta isnt fully caring for the baby (hence morning sickness) it should subside and all will be well. i spent a few mornings crying though, just be aware of whats going on and hope for the best

I bled in my early pregnancy I had spotting when I was 6 1/2 weeks pg - a scan showed the baby was fine. Then I had heavier spotting at 8 weeks again a scan showed the baby was fine. Then at 10 wks I had a bleed - so heavy I felt it (sounds gross sorry) when I checked what it was there was blood everywhere after sitting in a & e for over 9 hrs (thinking I was miscarrying) a scan again showed the baby was fine. The doctors could see no reason why I was bleeding though they could not explain it (although I was given similar statistics to you).

I carried my baby til 37 wks (because I suffered Pre-E in my latter stages) - I would just say to try and relax (I know it is not possible I've been there) because stress is not good for you or the baby. Good luck
