It depends on the size of your baby. Usually, your tummy hardens right around the time that it starts to show (to others, not just you or people who know you well). but up almost until the last 1.5-2 months when the baby really gets so big that he can't really move around too much inside there, it goes on and off as far as hardening -- because it depends if the baby is near the outside or further back inside. wait till you start having part of the body showing (a hand, a foot, when he/she randomly decides to stick it out) that's when it gets really freaky & really fun because you and your partner can talk & stroke the belly and the baby will respond. good luck and congratulations!

i really think it depends on the position of the baby. i honestly can't remember with my daughter. but there were times one side would be hard because she would be laying a certain way. and it would switch off and on. i think its different for every woman.

During my pregnancy with my twins I never really got big. I always had people trying to convince me I wasn't as far as I really was because of how small I was with twins. As for the hardening of the stomach, I can't really remember when mine did, but I know that it varried that sometimes it was hard sometimes it wasn't. It depended on where my kids were at the time.

it should probably be hard by now, but all my mommies are different and we all develop in different ways....

I'm not sure when it will harden but i'd say it should be soon. I hope you are having a wonderful pregnancy.
