How is everyone doing... Duh, I guess ok... Well I have two children, boy and a girl. One is about to enter first grade and the younger one is just about to turn 6 months old. What's up with the age gap right!? Anyway the BIG 30 is creeping up, WHAT!!? I feel like I should be more accomplished by now but here I am on a very long sabbatical... what's more to say. It's hard for me to trust other people to take care of my kids so I've decided to raise them myself during their first year of life. Plus I'm breast feeding full time. Lately I've been feeling a bit down, like I should be more accomplished duh! I never thought my life would be this way. I always thought I would be happy at my work and home life too. Why am I not....? Does anyone feel like I do???

Completely. I was working when my son was born, and after my maternity leave was up I left my son with my mother-in-law during the day. I hated it at work, I was trying to pump milk to keep my supply up, and I was getting NO cooperation from my boss. My husband agreed that it was time for me to go back to college to get my degree, so for the past couple years I have been taking classes online and raising my son. I feel like I am doing nothing though. My husband makes enough money for us to live on, but money gets tight and we can't always afford the fun stuff. He reassures me that I am doing the most important thing, and that is raising our child. That is what you have to tell yourself too. Even though it seems like you should be doing more sometimes, your children are the most important thing.
