Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. Everyone on here are very positive, and I thought I'd surround myself with all the positivity I can get. I'm a stay at home mom (for now) and my son is just a month old. My husband works alot and wondering if anyone else is in the same boat. It get's pretty tough, caring for the little one day in and day out while alone. Any new moms feel the same?

Yes, I went through the same thing. When my daughter was first born is when I realized just how many hours my poor hubby has to work! It was a real challenge for me to juggle everything pretty much alone.
I did two things that helped tremendously. First, I scheduled my day with the baby (feedings, naps, etc.) so that I could plan one outing per day - grocery store, park, walk, errand, whatever. That was my goal. Get out of the house and do one thing every day. It helped my psyche to put on presentable clothes, brush my hair, and get some sunshine, if only for 30 minutes.
Second, I joined a local Mommy & Me club. This turned out to be the real lifesaver!! Connecting with other moms who were struggling with the same things I was (no sleep, isolation, sore nipples!) helped me mentally, physically and emotionally.
It's been 11 years and another daughter since I was that new mom and I am still very close friends with many of the moms I met in those classes. Absolutely invaluable!!!

i feel the same too my husband don't work a lot but when he ain´t working ,he want to relax :s my son is almost 3 months :)
