I also use www.wholesomebabyfood.com and have been for the past 4 months. I love that site. For soft foods like bananas and peaches I just use one of those $10 food choppers and for other things such as carrots or pears I use my blender it works wonderfully. I work full time so I usually spend one day on the weekend making as much food as possible then I freeze it in ice cube trays and usually one have to do it about every 6 weeks.

I use the Super Baby Foods book! It's awesome! It has a ton of information about food and many other things! It's pretty simple making your own baby food though! Good Luck!!

Just another tip:

Make sure when you make carrots that you don't save the water you steamed them in, it explains it on the site too.

I used this website and made all of my little guy's food from scratch. It was really easy and saved us a lot of money! And honestly, tastes so much better than anything you buy at the store!

homemade baby food is pretty simple, that is why i chose it aswell.

make sure you have a food processor...i bought a mini one for $10 at walmart.

cook the veggies until they are soft, then let them cool and then mush until they are well blended.

here's a basic recipe

60ml (1/4 cup) diced or chopped cooked food

15ml (1 tbsp) liquid such as water that it was cooked in, breast milk, formula.

if too thick, add more liquid.
