i was on my lunch break at work at said id do a test for the laugh as i was feeling so sick ( not thinking it wud be positive ) it came ou t negative so i didnt think anymore about it , on my way home in the car i took out the test again to have one last look and it was positive !! so i went and got another one which turned out to be faulty !! i got home from work and told my boyfriend that i think im pregnant and had an appointment in the doctors , so when i got to the doctors turned out i was 3 weeks gone !! i rang my other half and said yes your going to be a daddy and his reply was oh sh*t now what do we do ???? hahah hhmmmm wasn't the nicest thing to say to me !!

Aw i love everyones stories!! Ok well it happened before we were married. So i was staying over at my then boyfriends house.Its so funny about that male intuition because its true!! I wasnt even thinking about it but i was sleepy all of the time. And then i would get this cramping pain on my side. He would say things oh thats just my baby growing in you and whatever i was like your so stupid!!



well he had mentioned for me to take a test so i got one for him i still wasnt even thinking about being pregnant as a possibility i figured it was my period coming. But the cramping felt different so i called the doc to make an appointment to make sure it wasnt anything serious this was in decemeber but the earliest i could be seen was jan 5! so i was like ok.



well the day before i got the test i was spotting so i was like haha my period. but then i didnt bleed anymore i was confused about what was going on! so the next day i bought a test but i didnt take it. i was like i gotta wait for the first mornings pee!



so the next day i woke up ( i was still at his place) took the test and jumped in the shower. I got out looked at it and sure enough there were two lines. however i STILL wasnt convinced i was like that line is too faint maybe i messed it up and there he was all excited saying no that means your pregnant!!!



so i read the instructions and sure enough it said the lines dont have to be matching one can be darker than the other but STILL i wasnt convinced so i called the help line on the pregnancy test box and they said the same thing STILL wasnt convinced.



well i got a phone call from the doctor saying someone cancelled and they could see me within the hour so we rushed over there they took a blood test and sure enough!!! i came out crying he got up from the waiting room and was like whats wrong????!! And then i told him were pregnant!!! lol he was so excited!!! i was scared, happy, nervous, excited! it was just so overwhelming!

I called him & made him come to my house - he missed his rugby match so he was mad at me lol.
Our son wasn't planned so it wasn't an exciting surprise at first... but it was after the shock :P

my first child I was late so I took a test and it was a positive test. I didnt believe it so I took 2 more. I called my husband at work and told him then sent him the pics of all 3 test by text. we told the family by taking copies of the first ultersound and putting them in frames says "i love my grandmother" it gave it to our mothers' on mother's day. with our 2nd child i knew i was preg before i took a test but I got up one morning took a test and came out of the bathroom and told my husband and 1st children that we are having another baby. we told the family by get a t-shirt made for our son saying on the front "I'm going to be a WHAT?" then on the back was a picture of the ultersound and saying "A BIG BROTHER" it took the family awhile to catch on to that one.

My husband always buys Nike shoes. So I wrapped up a pair of baby Nikes to tell him. He was scared because he thought I might have wrapped up the pregnancy test and didn't want to touch something I had peed on.

I took my test around 6 o'clock in the morning. (I was 3 weeks along) When it was positive, I jumped around and then ran to the bedroom and jumped on him, with the pee stick and some pee splashed in his face. What a way to wake up. Lol!!

when my fiance came home after work i told him i got him a present, and he was excited to see wat it was, but i told him he couldnt have it yet and then he got mad, 'why did you get me a present if i cant have it?' so i told him he had to wait a few months, but he still never caught on, so the next day i said 'here i bought u a pen with your name on it' i handed him a pen box and he opened it up and there was both + prego tests sitting in it, he had a big smile on his face, picked me up and swung me around, then put me down super gently thinking he hurt the baby, lol,

I wasn't starting my period and I was cramping soooo bad on my sides. I told me husband I thought I was prego and he said no way. The next morning I had 2 tests waiting for me and him sitting on the couch. Turns out I was prego and I went to the ER for the cause of cramps. They said I had water on my overies and my son is now 2½ and very healthy.

My hubby said that he thought I was pregnant and I didnt agree with him. So he told me to take a pregnancy test and so I did and guess what....he was right! He picked up on the sensitivities my body was having that I just took as premenstrual symptoms. Example, low appetite, tired, sensitive breasts, etc.

i took 5 testes due to the doctor telling me that i couldn't have a child, it took me a week to tell because i wanted to make sure it wasn't a false +.
y parents knew before my husband did. i was at work when i told him the first time the second time is a waiting game i had 3 neg test but im not buying it. something just feels off if that makes any sence.

i sat him down and i said i might be preg if i am how would u feel? we went out got a test from the chemist done the test and i come up pos and he was so excited he cried. so if i was u i would talk to see how he feels if u was preg and then u get your answer hope this helps and good luck

This time I put my daughter in a big sister shirt and had her meet him at the door after work. It was way better than the first time when I just called him at work because I couldn't wait. And I filmed this one. The look of surprise is priceless.

I was home alone when I took my test. We had been trying for 2 years and then we had just given up on it, but I had a party to go that night and I hadn't gotten my period yet, but it had a tendency to come late all the time and get my hopes up, but I always felt better about having a few drinks while I was out if I saw the - on the test since I only drank when I was on my period, but it was supposed to come by then.. So, I took the test, thought it was negative... So I sat there and cried for a few minutes, then picked up the test to throw it away and then all of a sudden I saw that second line and totally started freaking out, yelling OMG, NO WAY!! and just running from the bathroom to the living room to the kitchen and just all over the place now knowing what to do, lol. I was a total spazz and couldn't believe what i was looking at, so I sent the pic of the test to a friend to confirm it for me before I told my hubby when he got home from work! I put the test in this long jewelry box that a bracelet had come in that he had gotten me a few years before.. Told him to look at what I just got and had the positive test right in there :) He was in shock and freaking out too since we didn't think it was going to happen and had been discussing other options with doctors and so on. It was great. We told our parents the same way with the jewelry box, told them it was a belated mothers day gift that finally came, lol. Got great reactions all around telling them all like that :) Sorry I ramble, but it was an awesome day :)

I actually texted him because he knew I was going to the doctor and there was a chance so I sent a text and say yup i am nocked up lol he sent one sayin okay with the second one he we found out together i got the test and we waited the three mins together he read it and he told me

We were only dating for 6 months when I got pregnant. I went home after work and took a test because I had a "feeling" that I should. I then called him up crying and asked him when his staff party started because I needed to talk to him before he left his place. He told me to meet him a bar because he was drinking with a friend. He thought that I was going to break up with him because of my future plans of travelling after I finished pastry school and working in foreign kitchens. When I got there he asked whats wrong and I just cried and told him "im pregnant". He laughed then after I calmed down a bit he told me he would support me in whatever decision I made because its my body. After a few days of thinking I told him im going to keep it and he was happy.
He also made me take another test and see a doctor just to be sure.

With our first child, my husband told me I was pregnant. We weren't even trying. I cried for hours (mostly because of shock) and then it was happy tears. With our second child, my husband was in the bathroom with me when I took the test.

with my first son, i was doing haircuts at my friends house i was complaining that i was tired ect. she asked me if i had started my period? ( we are always on it together ) i said no and the said out loud OMG! so we both ran to the store and bought a pregnancy test as i was checking out she had bought one too, when we both took it they both said positive it was really funny, I called my husband and told him over the phone and it sounded like he was in shock. He started crying and told me to get my butt home. My best friend and i had babies within a week or so apart.
with my second son, we have discussed getting pregnant and start trying well it was right around st. patricks day when we actually started to try, a week went by and i felt like i was getting ready to start and was alittle disappointed so i kinda forgot about it and went on with everyday life, another week went by and i was babysitting a little girl, as she was taking her nap i fell asleep on the couch, ( i never take naps ) i blamed it on the weather, later that night i went to get my hair done with one of my friends and as i was sitting there i had to constantly go to the bathroom and didn't think much of it, when i got home that night my oldest was asleep and my husband was playing video game lol. i told him how i was feeling and he said well i thought you might want this, he gave me a pregnancy test and i said i don't think i am and he says oh yea you are. and when i took it i cried and he was all smiles, now he is 4 moths of little boy love

both were planned but the first pregnancy i took the test and ran out to my Fiance and showed him and he just grabbed and hugged me tight.....the second one i had the blood test doen with the dr and had to wait till he got home cuz he didnt want to know at work as hes a delivery driver and would get too excited driving....but thru the first few months he kept saying ur pregnant your pregnant and i said i dont know....cuz i didnt know for sure at teh time and well both times he was right

1st time it was a surprise I suspected I may be but after 2 years of trying he didnt want me to get my hopes up. It was the monday before thanksgiving and my husbands side of the family was next door at his brothers having some egg nog he told me after the test to come over he didnt think it was possible. Wrong I came running over and could barely talk! We took a few more that night to be sure the line was darker everytime! :) I was 3 weeks along.

The 2nd time my husband told me I was pregnant. We had only been trying for a month or two this time so I didn't believe it but tested anyways... took 2 test both negative but he still wasnt convinced sure enough he was right finally got a positive test when i was 6 weeks along! I called him at his work to tell him he was right he just laughed and I heard him tell the good news to his co-workers. :D now I have my two beautiful boys life is good

With my son who was my first child i didn't no i was pregnant until i was four months before i did the test to confirm the pregnancy my partner told me i was pregnant because i had all the necessary symptoms. With my daughter i knew i was pregnant at the early stages and so i did a pregnancy test with my partner there and it was positive we were very excited.

With our first I was in complete shock and told him in a zombie like way. The second time he told me to take a test. I had been sick for about a week and he said he thought I was preg. I didn't because we had been trying for a couple of years with lots of negatives and disappointment. Turns out he was right! I had our son call and tell him, he was 4 at the time. The third time I left him a voicemail because he was busy at work. I know, how romantic. LOL!

i told my husband about our first daughter when we were in the middle of a fight! lol we never ever fight so he was all like "what is wrong with you? why are you acting crazy?!" i said " it's not my fault! i'm pregnant! . ended the fight right away! after that he just held me and we talked for hours about our future. With our second daughter, i was away on buisness and had been getting sick all week. so i took a test and called him right after, along with a pic of the positive test! we had our eldest break the news to everyone else for us! :)

I just went in and woke him up and told him we were pregnant we told everyone else about number 2 by having number 1 wear a "I'm a big sister" shirt and taking a picture and emailing it out to everyone. I took my pregnancy text at like midnight after work on night on a whim. I had to take 2 because I was in shock. I tried to wake my husband to tell him but he wouldn't wake up. I stayed up all night and waited til 4:30am (when he wakes up to go to work) Called him in the living room and said we need to talk. He got a lil nervous. I said"I'm pregnant" She smiled, gave me a hug, and started discussing the financial aspect of the situation. It was funny. As the day went on he would call every couple of hours to check on me, I guess to make sure I was still pregnant until it sunk in!
