My sons name is Royce Lee, hes name was going to be Carter Reese but then my dad passed away when i 20 weeks prego. His name was Royce Glenn so i passed it on to my son.


My daughter is Zoie Abigial. Zoie was the name ive had picked out since forever! And Abigial came to me one day after i had picked Addison. if she were a boy her name wouldve been Ethan Reed. Which i still love too.

our next baby will be Jacob Wade, family thing on dads side that all the boys have the J.W. thing. and if its girl were thinking Kadence Ruth, Kadence because i love the name kate and my hubby is in the Navy and kadence is the first mornings march.

My Daughters name is Kaitlin Janelle.... My mom's name is Katherine and her Father's mother is Laura.. It's the closest I could get to both of thier names... Janelle is a cousin.. This part is interesting... After comming up with Kaitlin ( Yes no y in the name) Only becuase I have think that Y's are supposed to be at the end of words not the middle. any way,, I sat for several weeks looking for something that went with Kaitlin. .. One evening my Cousin called ( I have not seen her in a very long time) and said she was going to be in town in a few weeks and wanted to come by and visit. Her name is Janelle... I thought about it for a minute and I loved the name Kaitlin Janelle... When she came to visit Kaitlin was just a few weeks old... and I told her she needed to hold her name sake.. and told her that I had named her Kaitlin Janelle... She loved it...

My son is Nathan Alexander... This was tough for me... I did not like any of the boy names any one suggested... I did like Alexander but not for a first name... My daughter was 5 at the time and decided she was going to name him Ketchup.. ( Everything back then was named ketchup.) We decided that we needed to find a good name quick... So my grandmother said how about Nathaniel ... she said the names kind of go together but don't... I was not sure about Nathaniel... But I liked Nathan.. and we call both of the kids by a nick name..

My sons name is Joseph Wesley (everyone calls his J-dub). But every first born son on my husbands side of the family is named Joseph (I don't know why but I couldn't be the first to break it.) And Wesley is my father and my step-brothers middle name. So that's how we came up with Joseph Welsey.

I have twins and i guess i had to find names that fitted togther. My oldest Kyle was named after a tv programme i had seen and thought the actor playing "Kyle" was very very hot. Seems strange but being so young and not having enough money meant that i didnt think much about names whilst i was pregnant.

We named our son Dominik really because i fell in love with the name..for our daughter we honestly decided a week before she was born while my husband was in the shower and i was doing my hair he suddenly said "EVE"..i had no idea what he was talking about then he explained he had been reading the shampoo bottles and playing with letters and came up with Eve..she was born 12/11/08

My daughter's name is Sophia Elizabeth Maureen. The story around her name is a little silly, My Uncle jack, who passed away when I was a kid always used to tell us these stories about two characters, Sophie Foofoofnick and Heiny Kalpoopnick. They used to leave everybody with tears streaming down there faces from laughter and Sophie and Heiny became legendary characters in our family. Sophie is a beautiful graceful name and It was my top pick for a girl. My husband has a family friend with a dog named Sophie so we changed it to Sophia. The Elizabeth is my middle name, Named after my great aunt. Maureen is my mothers middle name. Sophia Elizabeth Maureen.

It was real difficult to name our daughter as my husband and i couldnt agree on any one name. We made lists too but nothing matched, lol.

So we said, we both get to choose one. I found the geographical names such as Savannah or Paris really a good concept but i didnt want a common american name so i picked Lelle which is a hungarian town on the lake Balaton and an ancient pagan hungarian name at the same time. I loved the sound of it cause its so soft and feminine. I also chose Liv after Liv Tyler, i thought it was a glam name and then i was torn between the 2. My husband put his vote down for Grete, he's german so he wanted a german name obviously. Then he saw how i couldnt decide and he agreed i could keep both. Liv-Grete Lelle is a long and annoying name for a small child, but its great cause wherever we will live (which is totally uncertain yet) one of them wll be easy for the local ppl. And she can choose from them or change it altogether when she gets 14 and has to get her first ID anyway :)

My son's name is Dean Anthony. My partner, Peter, actually named him, i was still out of it from the c-section. But i love the name. Dean is from my favourite show "Supernatural", which Peter found out one day when he came into our room and i was watching the show. The name Anthony is for his father who passed away when he was very young, it is also a family tradition between him and his brother and sisters to have the name in their sons' names.

We both decided on a girls name that we loved, and thought that when we have our little girl, she will be "Savannah Maree". No real story with Savannah, we both just love it and Maree is my middle name. Will have to wait and see when we have our next baby, but hopefully start to try at the end of this yr.

so my son is called Birk-Nesta

(Birk is my grandfather midd name and Nesta is actually Bob Marleys midd name.)

while my boyfriend was smal he didnt have anyone to trust and get confort from. and it became bob marleys music and message.

and when we understood we were fregnant the first thing he sayd was : if it's a boy he is a Nesta. i liked the name but wanted more than just Nesta.

i wanted a name from each of the culture (am norwegian and my boyfriend is kenyan)

i always liked my grandfathers name so there we go Birk-Nesta. one name that ment alot to bouth of us... then comes the meening....

birk means protector. and nesta messanger... and his last name meens freedomfighter..

he have something to streach himself after ..... and we have a hec of a job to raise him to live up to his name.

my 1st son is nathan nold. nathan was a friend of my husbands that he said literally saved his life at one time and it really struck me b/c w/out that nathan i don't know if i would have my nathan and nold was to honor his step-dad that was his last name and since my hubs grew up in 2 homes w/2 dads we thought it was neat to carry the bio-dads last name and stepdads name too.

our second son arriving in may has been a different story-this time i really want to honor my dad who is james but b/c i already hinted on a cool first name my hubs wants to choose the middle. i am pretty sure we are going to name him hudson purely for the reason that its similar to nathan and we can call him hud the stud :) and i thought it was not widely used then...i found 2 gals in a circle of friends who have named their boys hudson...oh well. and i would like james for the middle but my hubs wants victor. still 2 months to work on him so we will see...

Since day 1 I had a gut instinct that I was having a girl, only because I wanted a boy and everyone in my family that had boys last year wanted girls. My husband and I picked out a boys name so easily and will use it if we ever have a boy...Nicolas Ryan David...We both liked the nickname Nico, Ryan is my cousins name and he passed away when we were teenagers, and David is my husbands middle name. It took FOREVER to agree on  a girls name, and my husband would send me random texts with suggestions. We narrowed it down to Addison or Natalia. I heard his mom say Natalia and didn't like the way she said it so we decided on Addison. We wanted a name that was pretty and sophisticated. I wanted something that sounded smart, not like a bimbo. We decided on Kate for the middle name...it's just simple but seems to go well with Addison. Subconciously people say that it is after Kate of Jon and Kate Plus 8 (my fave show) but I don't think so. If I were to have another daughter I would name her Kendall Anne. It has the same number of letters as Addison Kate and the initials are opposite so I think that's cute! Wow what a long story just to say that my daughter is named Addison Kate. Lol!

My son is named after his great grandfather, Gino.  This was really important to us because my husband is the only one to pass on our last name, so a son would mean that the name would continue.   So anyway my husbands granfather came over from italy and now he has a name sake. 

the really funny part of the story is that now his great grandfather feels that he has been replaced and the name thing really depressed him for a while, he felt he had to die now...I know it sounds crazy but that is how he saw it.  He has since come around to the name and loves him very much.

Well, I am pregnant and have decided if it's a girl, it shall be named after the irish grandmother I never knew, my mum's birthmum, who's name was Evelyn (the irish = Ebhelen) - my mum was looking forward to meeting her real Mum, as finding her had been one of the main reasons why we had re-located to Ireland. Unfortunately she died of breast cancer at the age of 50 and just before my Mum could get to know her. I want to pay homage to her.

If it's a boy, I'm contemplating Lachlan - pronounced " Lock - lan " which has scottish meaning, I adore scotland and my man is part scot.

I have three children. Our oldest, Camille Jessica, got her name when, after looking at several name books, we found out that my Grandmother's cousin was named Camilla so we just changed the end to an -e- instead. Our son, Clayton James, is named after my Great Uncle Clayton who is the sweetest old man on earth. He wears suspenders all the time with a button down shirt and one of those funny little golf hats. James was after mhy hubands father who passed away while I was pregnant with him. My daughter's name, Ashlyn Chevelle, was a pretty easy choice. I gave my husband full naming rights, but I had ultimate veto if I didn't like something. Ashlyn means dream which was fitting because we had tried to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years, and it was our dream. Plus I really liked the nickname Ash (I'm a big Evil Dead fan, and I love Ash from the Evil Dead). Chevelle was choosen because my husband and I are gearheads, we race and demo cars, and my husbands first car was a Chevelle Malibu. I think it lends to a very unique name.

My son (Alexander) got his name for many different reasons, it was his fathers middle name, his great grandfathers name and I had just made a vow since I was 15 that it was going to be my first child's name, didn't even let his father argue with me about it lol not that he did really.

I have two boys my eldest George got his name as it is my husbands name, his dads,his grandads and his great grandads middle name so it was never going to be anything else and i gave him the middle name William as i wanted something from my side of the family and it was my grandads middle name. When it comes to my youngest son that wasnt so easy. My son's name is Joseph Gerrard and it was an easy pick for us. We had names for a boy or a girl 2 days after we found out we were pregnant. Joseph is his fathers middle name as well as his great grandfathers name. and Gerrard was my mothers best friend and a very important person to my family. My oldest is named Jocelyn from a nights tale.  I love the name and is not very common these days.  Annabelle was name because I likes Isabel but my husband didn't and he suggesed Annabelle.  I liked that so I agreed.  Brianna was picked out by my husband and I liked it.  He wanted a cletic name because it is part of his heratiage.  My son who was a surprize that it was a boy was suggested by my husbands aunt.  My husband dosen't like his full name and so I didn't want a junior so I fliped his name around.  I took the first name and made it the middle name on my son and the same for the middle name.  The first name of my son is Joshua which is my husbands middle name.  My husband was happy with the name choice.

My Daughters name I spent 7 months trying to figure out, I finally came Up with Summer Rose, Yes weird but I really liked it. Then When my daughter was born for some reason out of no where I just started calling her Patricia Rose. Patricia is after my Grandmother who raised me since I was 2 years old and Rose is after my childhood friend and because White Roses are my favorite flower. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a mom and had picked out the names Lillian Jerene and Phillip Scott. I wanted twins (one of each and be done). Phillip and Lillian came from Rugrats (Phil and Lil...I know, I know, but I was young!!!). Jerene is my and my mom's middle name (i wanted to make it a tradition). Scott is my brother's name and my Step-dad's middle name (who raised me as his own). When my husband and I started dating I changed the boys name to Phillip Matthew which is my hubby's middle name.
He didn't like the name Phillip at all. He had come up with the name Balin Milton long before we met. Balin is Celtic for "warrior poet" and Milton is his dad's and grandfather's middle name (it had been a family tradition to pass that name on). Not to mention with the initials BMF, our son would be a "Bad Mo-Fo" (yes my husband is a dork!). Well, I do not like the name Milton (something my MIL and I have in common) and refused to name my baby Milton. It made me think of an old man and I was having a baby...not an old man. Balin (pronounced Bay-lin) was cute and made me thing of a little boy.
So while we were still dating we agreed on Balin Matthew and Lillian Jerene. Almost 3 years later Balin was born and 2 1/2 years after that, little Lillian came along. It just feels like they have been named Balin and Lillian for so long, it just goes with our family. We are use to it.
Now I am pregnant with #3 and we are lost on names. Nothing seems to fit our family like Balin and Lillian did.

We decided we would like a name that was not very popular and we had he choice between Dexter and Kai. my daughter's name is Raven Isis.... i wanted her to have something original (my name is jenni & was o so common) I have Abenaki Indian in my background and always found a special connection with the Ravens where i was living in VT. They are tricksters & very smart in native folklore... if i could have named myself i would have been Raven. when choose an name for a baby we have chosen a boys name np but we were stuck on three girls names Chloe, Kymberly and Sophie, in the end we had Sophie cos when i was coming around my c seaction that was the first name i had said. and we chose rose as her middle name because my partners nan was called rose and she is no longer with us

my first son is zak alexander right up til i was due i was ummin an arrin as to whether i wanted another name then my cousin piped up with zak alexander and i thought it was great alexander is a name that has gone through the family my grandad my dad my cousins, middle names so it was great second was jason lee was i had gone through baby names book and picked all the names i liked added the ones together that sounded gud and let my husband which out of them i liked third was sophie paige karen have always liked paige and was gonna put sophia as first name put husband thought it was bit of tongue twister at times so became sophie and karen is after my late mum and my nana asked me to put her name in nathan daniel is my last child got nathan out of names book again but straight away it felt right to use that name and although husband didnt want it i didnt back down daniel is from a very gud friend of mine who stood by me through everythin

I have an 11 month old daughter and I decided at the last minute to name her Madeline Jane... Madeline coming from my Great Grandmother who died while I was pregnant and Jane coming from my grandmothers middle name!
