Hey Girls! I have 2 little guys that are 13 months apart. I had c-sections with both of them. So My body had no time to "heal' or "recover" before I had the 2nd c-section. I would LOVE to know if  there was a "solution" out there to fix me. I have been working out and changing my diet which I'm starting to feel/see some results, but the pouch isn't changing any. I would LOVE to know more on the herbal wraps!!!

Hi... ive had two c-sections n managed to get my belly bk to flat again but it really does depend on ur skin n ur age as obv younger peoples skin tends to be able to handle the strecth... i was lucky enough to loose weight in my pregnancies but still have two very healthy little girls...

well although i went from a size 12 to a 8 in my second pregnancy i still had that horrible over hang above my scar for a while... when i had my second c-setion they went over the same scar as the 1st sumtimes they choose to go above or below but make sure u tell them to got over the old one as ur still only have a little scar there after...

so wen i came out of hospital i waited the 6 weeks before i tried any exercise then the 1st thing i did was to how stretched my muscles were as the less they stretch the mre likely to get bk into shape.. u prob got a leaflet to show how to do this but if u didnt then u gotta lie straight on the floor n lift the top half of ur body up (as if u were about to do a sit up) when u feel the strain on ur belly place ur finger in the middle of ur belly... u should feel a gap there between ur mucles if u can fit 1 finger there then they havnt strched to much... the mre fingers u can fit between the gap the more stretched ur muscles r... i know it sounds silly lol o n they do not cut ur muscles in a c-section.

Right so wat i did after that was change my eatin habbits not the most healthy way but it worked for me... i had a small bowl of cereal or a piece of toast for breakfast then sum fruit for a snack  b4 lunch then for lunch id have an energy drink n no food only fruit b4 dinner then for dinner id eat a child size meal of wat ever i wanted this really helped shed the pounds from my belly without starvin myself ...

Then id make sure i exercised everyday after breakfast... ( the earlier the better really ) i laid a pillow on the floor then then place my feet under the sofa n done 3 sets of 25 sit ups with a min rest between each set so thats 25 normal sit ups 1min rest then 25 side to side sit ups with another mins rest then the 25 normal sit ups again... SORRY THIS IS SO LONG BUT IT REALLY DOES WORK...

Then u need a foot stool or an exercise ball for this one... place the stool or ball infront of a sofa or bed ( watever is the same height ) sit ur bum on the edge of the stool or ball n lie bk either place ur arms under the sofa cushions or get sumone to sit on ur arms above ur head... then straighten ur legs infront of u above the floor so ur level n lift ur legs as high as they will go then bk straight infront of u above the floor u need to do it slow n if ur doin it right then u will b actually be liftin ur legs with ur belly if that makes sence so u will feel it workin... these r quite hard if u do them right so only do 3 sets of 10 with them.... then repeat the 1st lot of sit ups again... i know it can b hard with children but if u stick with it everyday for a few weeks then it will pay off trust me....

ok ive written alot so im gonna stop now lol 1 last thing... everynight before bed i apply a firming cream sounds silly but it really works n its cheap... its from avon n its actually a breast firm n sculp cream but it really helps tone ur belly n its under a £5 i think...

But anyway hope this helps n if u have any questions then feel free to ask :) if u want to add me as a friend then plz do so would love to chat n u can see sum pics of how big i was in my pregancy n wat i look like now :) xxxxxxxxxxx

Yea thats been the hardest for me too...ive had two csections and i had a real hard time losing the extra 35lbs that i kept after the 2nd pregnancy...but eventually, i started eating 1200 calories a day and constantly waled or jogged with my two babies in a double stroller... So far ive lost at minimum 12 lbs in three months...belly still hangs, buts its slowly going away...and the stretch marks, tanning works for me..i can barely see mine anymore, it blends in real nice with my skin color now...

I have had one c-section out of the four kids that i do have, i found that crunches and time worked for me along with A LOT of walking and eating right. but most of all i found that when I came to accept that I wouldnt loose it and stopped worrying about it....not that it was an easy thing to do as you know ladies, but it really helped me loose my "roll over". Well I hope that you find something that will work for you!!! Just remember Ladies we are all beautiful in our own unique way.

I do think it is harder if you have had a c-section, because all those muscles are cut and so it is very hard to regain streghth and muscle in that area, especially because that area is where women tend to gain weight any way.  Not to say its much easier for any one trying to loose that pooch, but I do think its even harder for c-section mommies

I think it's absolutly alot harder for c-section mommies, b/c those muscles have been cut. I've had 2 c-sections in 2years and I can't even come all the way up while doing a sit up, that's how weak my stomach is. My stomach has never felt the same since my c-sections. I have this wrinkle mess of skin. Someone needs to invent something for us moms with saggin bellies...lol!!!

HI Moms! Obviously, diet and excercise will aid in fat loss and toning of muscles (we all know that part), but for the difficult "pooch" usually leftover, I've heard of herbal wraps which would help lose some inches in that specific target area, wearing clothes/underwear specifically flattening that area as often as possible, they have something called Lipidoctor I believe (non-surgical lipo).

I haven't had a c-section, but I did gain a ton of weight with my first son (I've had 2 kids now) and I had a belly pouch and still a lot of extra weight. The past year I've worked really hard and lost around 35 lbs and I'm within about 5 or 10 lbs of where I was when I got preggo...but my belly skin still sags! I'm working on toning now and thought of trying the Bender Ball (glad to hear from some above that it works so well!) But I'm not sure there's really much you can do about the extra, stretched out, saggy skin :S

Hey guys!

My first pregnancy I gained 70 pounds, I am only 5'4. I have now had 2 c sections, and the first one with all the weight gain, I got back to my original weight, but had excess skin. My second pregnancy I gained 39 pounds, and am back to my original weight, but my stomach will never be the same without the Tummy Tuck! In Canada the government will pay for the Tummy Tuck, if its needed, so that is what I am in the process of doing now, trying to see if they will accept me!

That is amazing that they will pay for it!  I hope you are accepted!

Okay well I had really bad sagging in my tummy after my c section and I thought for sure my stomach was ruined. Well it's hardly what it was it has gotten a lot better and it did take about a year. I also used these herbal wraps that made a huge instant difference. I lost a lot of inches that way which was nice. Good luck!

P.S. I also did a bunch of working out and changed my diet.

I too wish there were a fix for this!  I've even looked up pictures of after c-section moms and even the skinniest women still have this!  It's frustrating, but atleast I know I'm not alone!

the bender ball works great. i didnt have a c-section but my mom has six kids. me and my five brothers. and she had two c-sections. but she got the bender ball and its awsome!!! i used it to get rid of my muffin top. now that other question.......STRECH MARKS???? how to fade them....i heard tanning????? Anyone know?!?!?!?!

I don't believe that tanning will fade stretch marks.  I'm pretty sure you just have to wait it out.  After they fade it is recommended to not tan too because your stretch marks will stay the same color.

I too hear that, but I had a c-section 16 months ago and if throughout excerising and weight lose ( 20lbs in 3 months) I have yet to see much change in the sagging baby pooch.  I might just have to give that bender ball a try otherwise I think a tummy tuck is going to be in my future haha

I am currently working on this very issue myself. I had a c-section 10 1/2 months ago and was told that things start to go back to normal with diet and exercise around the 1 year mark....I'm not seeing it. I recently started going back to the gym but have yet to see any results in this general area.

Do you think it is harder for the moms who have had c-sections? I have had two and am on my way to the third. I have often thought about have a tummy tuck when I am sure I'm done having kids. I tried everything in between pregnancies and nothing seemed to help. If there is another alternative I would love to know too! GREAT QUESTION!!

I would love to hear some suggestions to this problem as well!!!  I know diet and exercise will of course help but this loose hanging belly skin seems impossible to get rid of without surgery!

I'm going to say it takes time...however I know that 80% of it is diet. I like to refer to it as my muffin top LOL!

i don't have a c-section, but i still have the belly fat! My son really stretched me out and i have a "kangaroo pouch" hanging. I've done everything to flatten my tummy. Some people's skin is thicker than others, so mabye the only solution would be a tummy tuck. You have an advantage already because of the c-section scar..they will get rid of that scar and make a nice clean one from the tummy tuck...I watch Dr. 90210 too much! lol.
