Well, she wakes up , takes naps, and goes to bed at different times everyday. I try so hard to fed her and lay her down for naps and bedtime at the same times but it never works. She sometimes takes long naps in the evening therefore she stays up late at night. I try to wake her up so she doesn't sleep too long but she will cry and want to go back to sleep. It is just a big circle of problems. If she goes to sleep late then she sleeps in later. Sometimes until 10 am. I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this problem? Can it be fixed? lol.

Both of my children are on a schedule my son is 3.5 years and my daughter is 2 months granted it was much easier when it was just my son but I just put him down woke him up and fed him at the same time every day and he just learned what to expect and it has been the same ever since.

We didn't have a set schedule untill Jon was about 2 yrs old when he started day care. He then started sleeping in his own bed. I don't know if it was because he was a little older but it has really come in handy him being on a schedule, we now have rituals that is easier for Dad or Grandma to step into if I have to work late. Good luck

ive worked as a nanny for 8 years... i heard parents say the same thing... the thing is the children put them selves on a schedule you just have to track it....Google nanny log and print out the nanny4hire one... everyday write down what time your child wakes up, eats: how much and at what times, diaper changes: times and if its pee or poop, nap times and how long... keep track for about a month and you'll notice she makes up her own schedule... no since in making up your own schedule for her... let her do it... your notice small differences but not much... you just need to arrange your life around hers... i did this with a 2 month old and her parents said the same thing... after a month i told the dad that it was almost her nap time and she'll sleep for about an 1 then need to east 4oz after she eats she's gonna need a diaper but wait 15 mins its probably going to be poop... he looked at me funny... the next day he said she did all that in that order...
