Saw the commercial for Bio-Oil and wasn't sure if the claims were true. I too am looking to have my stretch marks reduced...Thanks!

Bio-oil is the best and worked the quickest for me. Start putting it on now when they are red, twice a day and massage it into them really well. The massaging will help stimulate skin cells. Although there is nothing that will get rid of them , Bio-oil reduces the look of them and it is fairly inexpensive. It might take a little while depending on your stretch marks just don't skip from one product to another to quickly, it takes time for products to work and stretch marks to heal. we would all love a maricle in a bottle. :P

Quoting Natasha:

Try Bio-oil. I had a baby a month ago and have a few stretch marks from my pregnancy too and i am using Bio-oil. It is already making them lighter. When i was a teenager i grew too fast too and got really bad stretch marks on my thighs. I used Bio-oil twice a day for 2 months and they became so light only i can tell they are there. Good luck hope you find something that works.

Bio-oil worked the best for me as well...with both of my kiddies!!GOOD LUCK

There's a company called Lush cosmetics, out of England and Canada. All the products are organic, vegan and handmade. One of the things they make are massage bars,

which are cocoa butter, essential oils, and other good stuff pressed into a solid bar. My stretch marks were BAD, I gained 60 lbs with my baby very fast, and she was quite large. I used the massage bars like a solid lotion, rubbing all over the stretch mark areas every day, sometimes twice daily. After the first year, the small ones were gone, and now after 3 years the really big ones have faded quite a bit. The marks are still there, but they are very silvery pale now, not too noticeable at all. I found that those creams and stuff geared towards stretch marks were a waste of money, you just need a very intense, rich moisturizer and apply it constantly.

I got a lot of stretch marks during the last couple of months of my pregnancy and I began using palmer's cocoa butter. It smells lovely and not that expensive and they did fade a lot. Now I'm pregnant again I've been using it from the start and so far I haven't had any new ones, fingers crossed. I don't think it's possible to get them to totally disappear! Hope it helps.
