hi, my son is almost eight and he lashes out in anger over the wierdest things, when its no big deal. if we are wrestling around, he gets worked up to the point were he starts hitting and meaning it. he gets realy agressive. my nephew has aspergers syndrom and i was wondering if maybe its genetic? if he sweats at night he has nightmares, and after he talks to his dad(we are not together). i dont want to take him to the doctor because it could be other things, im just not sure what. is there anyone that can help me?

I will have to agree with Allie on this. Also, i would suggest googleing the symptoms and signs of aspergers syndrom and research it to see if it is genetic or not.

My oldest at the age of 7 started to act out. She would tell lies that were really big ones to were we had child services involved because she told her teacher something that was a big dramatic lie that scared her teacher. It is okay to get your doctor involved. I took my daughter to see a therapist that helped her learn her emtions and helped her show them the right way instead of acting out. she also took anger management. Sometimes kids just do not know how to handle their emtions and can get overwhelmed. This helped out my daughter so much and we have not had a problem sense. here is a website that may help you about the aspergers syndrom. good luck http://www.webmd.com/brain/autism/tc/asp...
