I only have one child, and I never wore maternity clothes. I had to go up a couple pant sizes and I couldn't always do up the top button on my jeans, but thats about it.

When i was pregnant with my daughter, i started wearing maternity clothes when i was around 3 months because I didn't feel right in my regular clothes.

I never bought any maternity clothes, I was a size 5 before I became pregnant and by the end of my pregnancy I wore a size 9~about the 6th month (thanks to low rise jeans + I hardly showed throughout my pregnancy) with shirts I just grew into larges and just wore the longer shirts under them.

With my oldest I started started wearing them when I bought them at 16 weeks, not because I needed to wear them but since I had not told any of my family, I wore a maternity dress that I loved to my niece's wedding and that was how I told my family!! As we were traveling to the wedding my mom wanted to take me shopping and treat me and baby to new clothes. With my youngest I started wearing them at 22 weeks, because I felt uncomfortable in my regular clothes. We are TTC to we will see what this next child does to my body!!

with my daughter i was in maternity clothes by the end of my 8th week. which made it tough because i was finishing my last semester of highschool at 6 months, so everyone knew. i gained nearlyr 100lbs by the tie i gave birth, going from 87lbs to about 182 the day she was born. it was tough finding clothes because im 5 feet tall, and you go into mat wear stores and it feels like no one under 5'7 ever gets pregnant cause nothing ever fits!

I was wearing maternity tops at 20 weeks and I dont remember when I starting with the pants but it was later. I was in really good shape and wore close fitting clothes so once my bump came I had no choice but to go into mat clothes because non of my tops fit anymore. I wear low rise pants so I had more time in them before having to switch to mat pants.

I also was never the one to walk around in sweats, I always loved jeans and cute tops

I wore my own jeans with a belly band until a couple weeks ago. The start of eight months. I wore my bigger shirts up until seven months. Now I'm fully into maternity clothes or my boyfriends clothes due in five weeks. I'm a rather small person though.

With my daughter I was able to wait until I was about 26-27 weeks before I had to wear maternity clothes. I was able to where low rise jeans occasionally with her. With this baby I am only 19 weeks and I am already wearing maternity clothes. I cant wear the low cut jeans because I am carrying low. Frankly I find, although the maternity clothes are expensive, they are way more comfortable. The skin on my belly is so sensitive this time. Regular materials are soooo itchy!

With my first I was so excited to be pregnant that I was TRYING to fit into maternity clothes as early as 4 months even though I didn't NEED them until I was about 6 months. This second pregnancy I SHOULD have started wearing the maternity clothes at 4 months because I'm so much bigger earlier, but it's now 6 months and I'm finally starting to transition into maternity clothes.

I started wearing them around 4 to 5 months. Certain regular clothes I could get away with wearing for longer just because of how they fit me. I also got a bella band which helped me wear regular pants longer. I have one pair of jeans I managed to wear through the entire pregnancy and somehow they were more comfy than maternity pants! I've heard you show sooner with subsequent pregnancies and I am sure that will be true with me; I gave birth 9 months ago and my ab muscles still haven't gone back all the way.

With my first little guy i was in maternity clothes or just a bigger size by about 5 months. I wore a lot fo sweat toward the end becuase maternity jeans aren't that flattering and I was pregnant in the winter so I could get away with that. My little guy is 15 months now and I'm about 3 months into my second pregnany and already feeling that my regular clothes aren't fitting that well. My jeans are low rise so if I have to go somewhere I can still get away with wearing those for the moment but around the house it's hubby's t-shirts and sweat pants. =]

I was in maternity clothes at 3 months. I was to big for my regular clothes but to small for maternity. I wore them any way because once the constant need to pee started I LOVED the elastic waist! I tried doing the yoga pants too, but couldn't stand having the tightness around under my belly.

My daughter is 5...I showed extremely early with her...I'm in my 2nd pregnancy...and I started showing very early...Despite losing weight since I found out I was pregnant, I haven't been able to wear my clothes since 2 months lol. So i'm early when it comes to showing & wearing maternity clothes lol.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans at 13 weeks. I was so uncomfortably bloated all the time that they really helped. Other things though I could wear a bigger size until I was further along. I wore regular tops, dresses and skirts until I was about 20 weeks.

i only have one child. now if i was wearing my low rise jeans.... i wore them into my 7th month. i didnt buy any maternity pants because i wore track pants my entire pregnancy other than my 1 pair of jeans but for tops and whatnot, i was wearing maternity tops by the time i hit 3-4 months. i was severely underweight with my daughter and i had to gain weight very quickly (which all went to my belly and boobs lol)
