My son was born with hazel/gray eyes and now has steel blue colored eyes. He is now 18mos old. Some days they are more intense blue than others, but his father's eye color changes with his moods and the same with his grandfather's.

my sons finally stopped changing colour around 3-4 months to dark brown like mine, but 2 of my cousins had bright blue eyes at birth right up until they were a year and then turned hazel. their little sister was born with blue eyes and they never changed. i think the general concensus is that they can change up to about a year, but every baby is different.

I was told by a year of age, but my daughter is almost 2 and still has blue eyes. They were an ocean like blue when she was born and now they are more gray blue, but still very blue. My dad said he had blue eyes until he was 2 and then they changed to brown. My husband has green eyes and I have hazel (brown/green) eyes. There aren't very many blue eyed people in our families so we'll see if her eyes actually stay blue.

Usually by 8 or 9 months of age their eye color is set. My daughter's eyes were blue from day one and are still today, but my son has beautiful brown eyes, but they were a dark blue/grey until he was 6 or 8 mos. old. then they became more brown and stayed that way.

We got told when we had my first that it would take around 3 months.. it took almost 6 months for my first child to get his brown eyes. Don't worry about an average time.. if they're going to change, they will.
