4-5 months exclusively, substutted with formula till 6 months, then stopped. I had issues with my supply, otherwise i would have given our son breast milk until he was at least a year.

I bf for 6 weeks and had sooooo much pain and thrush and mastitis several times which caused me to dry up. I was very upset and dissapointed but after expressing till 8 weeks I had hardly any milk so went to formula.

My first, 12 months. But I wish I had continued.
I am happily breastfeeding my nearly 14 month old and plan on until she chooses to self wean.

My son was born in April and I fed him until the following year in June, so about 14 months. I've known some who have only done it for a few months, hey even a little is better than none! One lady I knew was still breastfeeding her daughter at 2! And, if you really want to go extreme, there's a video on youtube of a lady that breastfeeds her 8 year old!!!!

Going on 8 months of breast milk for my daughter and going to continue probably until 15 months. She wouldn't latch, though, so I pump, which I found is very convenient!
