How much formula should a 7 month old drink?

My daughter refuses to drink more the 450mL a day. In the morning she will have about 100mL, then about the same for lunch and dinner and will wake at 1am for another 100-150mL. I'm scared that she is not getting enough calcium into her. She does love her yoghurt though so she'll have 2 portions in a day.

Thanks ladies, yeah she does have 3 solid feeds a day, she wakes and has a bottle then at about 8am she'll have cereal then at about 12 another bottle and an hour later some vegies then at 5 she'll have dinner then just before bed about 7pm she'll have another bottle. I guess i was just worried because on the tins of formula it says 240mL 4 times a day and there was no way Aleksia was going to drink that much milk. In terms of her weight shes above average so i'm not too concerned about it and he ped thinks shes doing fine. But thank you so much for you input makes me breathe a little easier ;-)

My son started cutting down on formula at that age, so long as you substitute the goodness of formula with good foods like yoghurt, cheese, fruit and veg etc she should be fine. formula is great but you would be suprised how much better some foods like fruit and veg can be in providing things like calcium

Have you started him on regular solids yet? If he is having bottle, breakfast a few hours later, then lunch at lunch time..then another bottle,,,,then tea and then a bottle before bed....he wont need as much. I try to get 600ml into my daughter as well as 3 meals. They need the formula for the nutrients and more importantly the iron. Babies iron levels deplete significantly from 6 months and we must make sure they are either eating enough iron in their food (green veggies, meats) or getting it in their formula or vitamin drops. I find that my daughter will only have a full 180ml bottle when she is really really tired...other than that its 120ml or less....so i just increase the times she has the bottle and make sure she isnt full up from her solids when i give it to her.
If youre worried about his weight, go to a doctor...Good Luck!
