I bath my baby girl daily ever since she was three days old and I only use baby vaseline on her skin and her skin is smooth as butter. My daughter also loooves baths and never cries during baths.

When Remmi was a newborn she would get a sponge bath whenever she was dirty or messed on herself. she has very dry skin so her doc told me to bathe her every other day at the most..but sometimes i wait the whole 3 days and she smells like taco shells hehe

I do! My son loves taking baths, so I give him one daily.I don't always wash his hair though because it made it start to fall out right after he was born. haha

I try and bathe my son every other day. You're not really supposed to bathe them every day as it washes away all their natural hair and skin oils. :o)

I would, but I already tried that and her skin got really dry and it cracked in some places and it was very painful for my daughter. Now I bathe her about every other day and she is much better.

my son is 15 months and I bath him every night, he loves his baths and it's part of his night time routine! He is very active and very messy so he tends to need a bath daily anyway! We have a bath, have milk, brush teeth and then have story time and bed!

I have bathed my daughter, who is 3-1/2 now, since the day she was born. I bathe every day so why wouldn't I give my baby a bath every day too? I always bathe right before bedtime. This is constant routine so she knows bath, then bed time. She loves her routine and her bath time! Plus, I just can't stand the thought of her going to bed dirty!

I bathe my 15 month old every other day. I was doing everyday for a while but her skin would dry out so bad we went back to every other day. She has eczema.

No...my son has sensitive skin so I do it every other day to keep it from getting too dry and itchy. If he gets especially messy during meal time he'll get a bath afterwards even if it's not a "bath day."

Most days she gets a bath at bedtime. We almost have to at her age, food is always in the hair after dinner. It also establishes a good bedtime routine for her.

I gave my son [who is now 2] a bath every other day. As a first time mother, the nurses at the hospital recommended it becuz a bath everyday would dry out my sons skin. He is now 2. Considering he is getting into everything now, a bath is required every night ! LOL.

My daughter is 5 months and I bathe her everyother night. She gets really bad dry skin if I do every night. I dont think you haveto do it every day. When I was leaving the hospital they told me everyother day cause a few germs will also help build an amune system♥

My kids typically bathed every day when they were infants, and occasionally skipped one if they had dry skin and we'd just do a sponge bath instead. It's part of the bed time routine, the warm water really relaxes them.

I did and still do especially since my son is 18 mnths now. I find esp. helpful if you are trying to develop a routine. Cameron knows now that after dinner he takes his bath then plays for an hour or 2 then it's off to bed!

I usually bath my 8 month old every other day. Now that she is on solids and trying to feed herself sometimes she gets one everyday. It depends on how sticky she is by the end of the day!!!

Hi Liz,

I was told by the pediatrician to bathe my 2 month old (almost, she is 1 month for another day) every other day, because too much bathing would dry her skin out. Its not working too well for me though, if I bathe her every other day she breaks out in baby acne and if I bathe her every day then she has dry skin all over her face.

I bathe my son every other day. I noticed that when I was giving him a bath daily, he started to develop dry patches especially on his back. So when I cut back to every other day the dry patches went away. I too used Aquaphor by Eucerin when he was little, and then switched to baby lotions around 3-4 months. He loves his bath, but won't stay still for lotion! :)

I bath my little boy every second day. I found that when I was bathing him every day his skin would dry out. So every second day works well for us. But it may not work for everyone!

Nope. Its more or less every other day. (Depending on messes) It can be a bath, or a shower with me. Just depends. Works out just great for us.

I know some people who bath their babies once a week and others who bath them everyday. I suppose this just depends on preference.

I bathed my kids everynight until recently. they are 3 and nearly 2 so when its raing and they have been inside all day i dont see the need to bath them that night but then the next night they get a really good soaking mainly due to our sons till being in anppys and our 3yr old doesnt seemt o like to wipe properly some days and yes she and him both can get stinky.I wish i had the nergy to do it every night but i am pregnant with our 3rd and sometimes i just can't but like i said its whent hey have been inside all day and done nothing much.

I have bathed my 7 month old daughter everyday since she was born. She does not have dry skin. Her night time schedule helps her to relax before bed. we eat dinner, bath, lotion, book, and then She goes to her room for bed.

My daughter is 2 now, but when she was an infant I would bathe her every day. My feeling toward it is if you want to be clean everyday then why not have your baby clean everyday. Hope this helps.

Until he started eating solid food my son got baths every 3-4 days. Now that he gets messy during meals and is crawling around on the floor it's about every other day. I try not to bath him more often than that. Even doing the every other day baths seems to make his skin dryer than it was before. Of course if he's dirty, he's dirty and I won't let him get stinky and unhygienic. When he has to bath more often we just slather on extra lotion.

I had to put my daughter in warm water baths often. We couldn't figure out why she would cry and act like she was in pain a lot. So we gave her a bath in warm water which turns out is a great way to get rid of gas. Which we found out she got a lot. But i didnt always use soap because it will dry out their baby skin.

I do. I can't stand the thought of putting him to bed without giving him a bath first. Plus the baby lotion smells so good right after a bath.
