I've been giving him a bath every other day because the nurse said that would be fine. Do any of you guys recommend something else?

i give my son a bath every other day.. he's 6 months.
unless he makes a huge mess while hes eating, then he gets a bath lol.

When my children were babies i gave them baths as needed . It is true that to many can dry their delicate skin out , but it just depends if you bathe them everyday them be sure to use baby oil to put oil back onto the skin to prevent drying out .

Whatever you want. We didn't give my son a bath every day over the winter because his skin would get so dry. Now we are bathing him every night but I am only using soap every 2-3 nights. We do it because it fills the gap between dinner and bed time and he really enjoys it.

I bath him every night just because he loves his bath so much and it's part of his bed time routine. I just add a little bit of that liquid Johnson and Johnson bath soap to his bath so I think it's gentle enough on his skin.

before my son was mobile (before he leaned how to roll) I bathed him every other day at the most. My mom tried to tell me to bath him everyday but I didn't see the point because he wasnt doing anything to get himself dirty. Once he started rolling and eating food (around 4 months) I started bathing him everyday because he would spit his food out at times and be rolling on the carpets (which although vacuumed everyday they were still icky). He is now a few days off of being one and I bath him once if not twice a day, he is quite independent and really messy.

i gave him a bath every other day until he started eating baby food. he usually messes himself up because he wants to "help" and so he needs once

when my kids where little i gave them a bath 3or4 times a week so i didn't dry out their natural oils in their skin. as they got older and got in to more stuff they get more baths.

I give my daughter a bath about every other day. I was told when she was born not to give her a bath but once a week so i didnt dry out her skin.. She is 8 months now
