My baby is 4 months and i want to take him to a friends pool, but scared of the chlorine and his delicate skin. Any advice/suggestions?

Awww! I am so excited now!! I will give him a nice bath after and lots of nourishing lotion! =D i bet he will be conked out forever afterwards! LOL Thanks all i feel better now =D

should be fine - mine were 4 months and 3 months. If you are worried about his skin just rinse him off really well afterwards and give him a good lotion. After his first swim be prepared he may sleep for hours!!! LOL

mine was about 8 weeks when i started taking him in the pool every week- like kathryn it was a hotel pool so lots and lots of chlorine.

My son was about 1 1/2 months old when he first got in a pool. His Grandma and Grandpa have one at their house.

My son was 9 weeks old. He was perfectlly fine. In fact we went in a public pool at a hotel, much more chlorine than a private pool. I just gave him a bath after we were done going swimming. No problems with his skin and he really enjoyed it.
