I was 19 when I was pregnant with Catherine and 20 when I had her; however, I don't fit into the typical 20's category. By the time I was pregnant with Catherine I had already been married over a year to the same man I'd been dating for 7 years - We both had professional full time jobs making good money, and were purchasing a home together. While Catherine wasn't expected, I am definitely glad I had her when I was younger, this gives me so much more energy to play with her and so much more patience with her.

I turned 20 eight days before my first was born, 21 when my second was born, and 23 when my third was born. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

I went to school with a girl who got pregnant when she was 12 and gave birth one day after she turned 13. She kept the baby, who is now 10, and is one of the most committed mothers I know.

I had my first at 19, just shy of my 20th birthday. My second at 21, and third 22, my fourth will be at 25. It sounds young, but I had been in college since 16, married since 17, we owned our home, our oldest was planned, the next two were "surprises" :)

I had got pregnant with my first at 17 and had him shortly after I turned 18, then another one at 20, then again at 22. I am now 30 and pregnant with my fourth. i would not change a thing, although my first was not planned. I love being a younger mom even though the age difference between many of moms of kids that are the same age as my son are older. That has been a bit awkward, especially when he started school.

I got pregnant right around my 19th birthday in September of 2008 and had my son in May 2009. I felt much, much older than 19, but for some reason considered myself 20. When the nurses would ask me my age, I would say 20 and then have to take a second to think about why it didn't make sense that I would already be 20 when I couldn't remember having my 20th birthday. It was kind of bizarre in a way, I guess, but I just felt far from being a teenager when I was carrying a baby, then actually having a baby, and being married. The most similar thing I can compare it to is when you take a nap in the middle of the day & wake up right around dusk, but instead of thinking it's 7pm, you think it's 7am and freak out because you think you have to get ready or are late for work/school.

I thank God every single moment of my days for my son and my husband. They are the shining light in my life that provide a happiness and bliss and acceptance that I would've never found in any other direction my life would have taken. I truely do believe that everything happens for a reason. They saved me in so many ways that they'll probably never understand♥
