My son started walking at 7 and half to 8 months very early he was very bowie legged and he's leg have come straight

Each of mine did it about a month later. My oldest was walking well by 9 months, my second ten months, and my third 11 months. I'm interested to see if number 4 is 12 months when he is walking!

It all depends on the child! I have 3 children and they started at different ages. My 1st was 12-13months, my 2nd was just before 12 months and my 3rd child started at 9 months old. So it really depends ont he child and if there are other siblings

i was starting to get rather worried but my daughter finally started walking at 18 months and now there is no stopping her!!
i guess it was just faster and easier to crawl

my son started at 9 months & mastered by the time he was 11 months. my niece started learning at about 16 months though. They just decide when it's time.

My son is 13 months, gestational age 11 months. He just started walking a couple weeks ago. He will want to hold my hand to walk when we are outside or if he is wearing shoes. Inside he will get up on his own and try. As soon as he falls though he is back to crawling. If he wants to get somewhere fast he crawls. I'm thinking that he will be walking a lot by himself soon.

Every baby is different, but look at when the parents started walking. That's a good indicater. I started walking around 10 months and so did my boyfriend. So not surprisingly, our daughter started walking at 10 months 1 week.

My son walked a little after his first birthday, but he got around in his walker like a champ since he was about 8 months old. I know some people are anti-walkers but I am pro-walker LOL he enjoyed the freedom and mommy got to have her hands free

My daughter was 8 1/2 months when she started walking. Shes a fast learner. And my son is only 4 1/2 months now so hes not ready and doesnt seem like hes insterested. He just sleeps. Every child is different.

Hey, My son is a week over a yr old and he started crawling at 5months but didn't seem to like that so he started fully walking at 8months. Every child is different, I have 11 neices and nephews and they ranged from 7months walking to 13months.

My oldest turned 9 months of Feb 2nd 2007 and walked the next day . While my youngest was 12 months on sep18th 2010 he did not walk til 11 days later.

My son will be ten months old on the 28th, and he's not quite walking, but will stand up by him self for a while, but will not take a step unless he is holding a finger. He cruises on the furniture like crazy

Oh ok yea by reading these comments....yes every baby is diff.. My 9 1/2 months old baby can hold her balance on her own but not enough to make her first step, she tries tho but she ends up falling..lol.. For some reason I don't think it will be long till she starts walking:)

Our daughter was about 11 months (started on Christmas Eve Day of that year) and our son was around 9-10 months. But each baby is different. A friend's daughter was almost 2 before she would walk (she "walked" on her knees, but wouldn't go to her feet).

My son was 15 months he jsut didnt want us to help him he wanted to do it himself..but every baby is different once they feel they are ready to go then watch out:)
