babies will only eat til they are full so thats completely normal, he could also be going through a growth spurt and cluster feeding. they last a few days and happen every few weeks to a month when they are that young, and it is not an indication to start solids.
It is very bad to give babies solids so early their digestive system is not fully ready to handle them and can cause allergies , normally you should wait til 6 months to intro solids, and 4 months at the earliest if your doc recommends it. Also putting cereal into his bottle is a choking hazard, it need to be spoon fed when they are old enough ( when they can sit up)
All your baby needs is breastmilk or formula right now ... my son ate 6 ounces every 2 hours at 2 months and by 4 months was up 12 ounces every 2-3 hours... that's when we intro'd solids. Your son is probably still hungry but b/c of the cereal his tummy more then likely is hurting him so that's why he is only eating a little bit at a time

I had the same problem with my 3 month old daughter and her pediatrician said to put single grain rice in her formula... It works for me anyway... If she gets constipated, which has only happened once, then I give her some prune juice mixed with a little water and it works like a charm and doesnt give her a tummy ache! He also said to start her on solids at around 4 months... Ive heard ppl say to wait til the baby is 6 months and I have also heard of ppl starting as early as 2 months! Im gonna listen to my pediatrician and start her at around 4 tho... If I were u I would just call ur pediatrician and ask for some suggestions... Sounds to me like he might just be having a growth spurt! :)

My son was having four 8oz bottles a day and sleeping through the night at 8 weeks old, He was only having 4 bottles a day because we made him go longer without having feeds by giving him his dummy or keeping him entertained. If he was a little wingey we would make him wait but not until he was screaming for a feed. he is now 6 months old and only has 3 sometimes 4 8oz bottles a day plus his baby food. We did the same with my eldest son and he did great with that too! Hope this helps.

He won't have more than 120ml because you're filling him up with the rice cereal - which his disgestive system isn't mature enough to process yet and may just lead to constipation.
Babies his age can feed up to 12 times per day - their stomachs are really small. My first fed every 2 hours all day, and went a little longer at night. If you are formula feeding you shouldn't exceed the amount recommended in the instructions for his age/weight - but consider that in a day. If he wants less per feed, he's going to want more frequent feeds. Quit with the rice cereal and see how much he has, and as long as he is growing and generally settled, he is fine. It is just surprising how often they eat hey!!!?
And when you do come back to rice cereal - don't add it to his bottles. Introduce it is a "food" (very sloppy, but fed from a spoon) when he is closer to 6 months. Right now he needs the nutrients supplied by milk - breast or formula. The cereal is giving him different nutrients, but not the ones he needs right now.

My son ate non stop as a baby. Never sleep more than and hour day or night. I tired baby rice in his bottles and it helped a little. It took my son until he was One to finish 120ml in one "feeding". I just kept feeding him and he is fine.
