hahaha thanks everyone good 2 c I am not the only one that deals with this. U have all hit the nail on the head! I honestly feel my partner needs more attention than my daughter. Even when she is more clingy towards me he gets all sooky and jealous! What the....

so good to hear that other moms experience this ... i go through this almost daily with my husband. "I worked all day." well WTF do you think I did? watched movies? played computer games? my husband can't function if he doesn't have an hour of "him" time each day. where's mine? when's my time dammit?!

I completely agree. Being a stay at home mom, or even one who works as well, is just as hard as the typical 9-5 job. I dont know about anyone else but I'm lucky if I get any "me" time. I have two young ones, so it's always that one or both needs attention around the clock. My husband thought he had it all under control when I went back to work and he was at home with only one kid during the day and both at night. He was sadly mistaken. When I would call home on my breaks I swear he wanted to cry from exhaustion and frustration. lol. I guess no husband will ever know till their in our position, even if it is only for a short time.

i have to admit that i sometimes throw tantrums! my husband is extremely laid back and im quite intense, and sometimes after doing five loads of laundry on possibly my only day off...i need a little scream to make me feel better...its pretty effective cause than my husband will take over ALL the rest of the chores and send me to bed, so its not just men, sometimes its women too!!!!

no they don't!!!! mine is the same way!! if he doesn't get his one (ahem) thing when he wants it he acts worse than my 4 year old does!!! i'm sorry but i work hard all day too and just because i don't earn a paycheck doing it doesn't mean that it wasn't tiring!! i think i work harder than him anyway!! like today he's over at my parent's house hanging up some pictures for them...and then he'll be making some drawings for some patio ideas. oooooh soooooo freaking hard!!!! LOL.

lol. Thats a good way of putting it. I sometimes feel like I have 3 kids instead of 2. I really dont think they realize all the energy we put out to keep everyone happy. Somtimes I feel like I'm punishing my son when I have to tell my husband no. I see it as being just like raising a toddler. Somtimes you just have to say no so you wont spoil them.

Ah yes, some do get it but some of those ones seem to figure mom's should be able to do it all. We were built for it after all and have generations before us that have done it. pfftt. I've been with my fiance for 4 y ears this fall and we're getting married this summer. It's taken a long time but he's getting there. They want to act like children they get rules and boundaries like the kids. He didn't like that so much (LOL!!) but he's learning to be and act like the adult he is. Even if his friends are immature buttheads. =)
