I took a test the day before my period was scheduled to start...have always been like clockwork...and I got a positive test (the first pregnancy) with this pregnancy I took one a week later and it was positive. A woman knows her body...Take the test as soon as U can. Good Luck!!!

it might not be too early to find out -- and its very possible u were ovulating -- i wouldnt hesitate if you want to find out like right now, otherwise try to be patient until the ob check --

10 days after and I'm on a 26 days cycle
I have a 9 month old, I've been through pregnancy before, I had NO symptoms with her, and I got a negative test at 5.5 weeks, only got a positive at almost 7 weeks.

Hang in there - if you need to know now, then by all means - but you can't always be for sure either - things can happen to offset your period too -- let me be sure of something though -- was that 10 days after your last period?? or before this period??

I say yes ,go for it go and get a test ,take in the morning tho best time !If you are call and make your first OB appt ,keep all of them dont miss one !also for mornning sickness ,before you stand up eat some saltine crackers keep them on yr nite stand ,with some water eat a cupple and rest for a cupple of min ,also make sure you take yr pronatles vitamens ,if you have trouble taking them take them at nite ,and you will sleep rite thow being sick and you will have more energy in the morning my husband and i and my kids all take theres at nite and all are in better moods when they wake up ....GOOD luck keep us posted ,hope you get the results you want

I'm so upset, it's been driving me crazy!
I didn't even realise that I was late until I looked at the calendar to see when my massage appointment was and I saw that I had mark it for Friday. lol

They have test's now that you can take up to 5 days BEFORE your period! I would get one of those!!!! That is the test i took when we were trying to get pregnant with both of our kids! I wouldnt be able to wait another week to find out, the suspense would KILL me! Go to the store, get the test, take it, then report back to us with the results! LOL! I would wait 2 weeks. i took a test when i was about 3-5 days late and it was negative. i waited until i was 2 weeks late and it was poitive. i am now 5 months along.

Well, I went to eh clinic, but they won't do a test until I'm a week late, but they said I probably am and to wait and I made another appointment for next Monday :( I might just jump the gun and get one over the weekend lol

do a test, i did a test three days before my period was due when i was trying. and three days after to be sure. good luck either way.

i personally wouldnt waste money on a test i wait 2 weeks if i dont get my period i take a test. im a week late now. ive been havign unprotected sex only when i know im ovulating but it never seems to work so doing a test will just disappoint me. im all for just wait and see but if you cant stand suspense then do it

Hi! I would definitely say go for it! If you have regular periods and you are 3 days late, I would say GO FOR IT! It's the start of a beautiful time in your life when you are trying to conceive (even though it's a stressful one!). I know when my hubby and I were trying I looked for every reason to take a pregnancy test! Women tend to ovulate 10 to 14 days after their cycle, and sperm can live up to around 48 hours in the body....You very well may be pregnant!!!! Good luck! Hope you get what you want!!!!

i knew i was pregnant with my son on the first day my period didn't show up, so i took several tests that didn't give me a positive result, my advice would be to wait a couple more days then take a test. hope you get the result you want :)

hi, i would say yes do a test. my periods were as regular as clockwork and i was 3 days late and just felt the real need to do a pregnancy test, when i did it was a bit of a shock when it was positive and i ended up doin a further 3 to just check, but looking back it was the start of a very exciting adventure. good luck x
