try finding a mommy and me play group and take your step daughter with you, i'm sure you can find someone there! i know what you're going through, i had my oldest at 20 and none of my friends had kids, but i wouldn't say i lost them, we just grew apart really. now i'm 27 and have 3 kids and the people i was friends with in high school are just now starting to have babies. it sucks, but you'll get through it!!

My name is Maretta and it is a pleasure to meet you. I can totally relate to what you are going throught. Only difference is lucky for me i have one amazing friend (our daughters are 2 months apart) that went to high school with and gotten closer to over the years as our daughters have grown to be bffs. You don't need plenty & many friends just a strong bond outside your family. i know one lady said try reaching out and i totally agree with her that's the best way to get rid of some of the loneliness or emptiness you may currently feel!!!

But in the mean time i dont mind being your penpals...My daughter is 2 1/2 also and I am 23.

lol it was literally like that like I couldnt be around them because Im pregnant and I guess brought shame to them but Idk how because there not good tissues and they bought plan b pills or had abortions and i decided to have mine i layed down and knew the chance so why kill someone innocent im just not that kind of person

thats just life you started a family and people don't want to talk no more cuz there ethier single or have there own life I don't have any friends and kind of glade cuz when I did they were just around my husband or telling me how to raising my kids I do get so lonly with no one to talk to she will come back around no wories

I am twice your age and at the other end of parenting. I have grandchildren, but I also have a 5 year old son. He is the youngest of 8. I know you aren't at school age yet, but you can meet people at any activity you get involved with your child. Talk to that other mom at the park, you never know, she may be in the same position as you. What about the moms at your lamazee class? I know it can be hard, but if you don't reach out you will never know. Many moms are busy, but others need company too. Another thought, try the library. My local library has book clubs, craft groups..... The local craft stores have different groups also. Even if you don't make friends, it is still nice to talk to other people. Good luck and try to live in and enjoy the moment! It leaves you so fast!

Hi Christina, your advise was relly helpful and nice I really appreciate it I just dont even worry about them anymore and as far as my step daughter's mom we have a decent relationship but we are good at that we are to totally different people.

Hi, Im in the same boat sort of, Im 22 with two kids and i lost all my "friends". I was in a bad place at the time when i had my first child, now that im married to a wonderful man and father i am now able to make new friends, i have more loyal mummy friends than all the so call friends i had before :) I have joined up with Nutrimetics which helps me to socialise and make friends aswell as sell amazing products and earn some extra cash and FREEBIES woohoo :) give it time you will find new better friends

I know what you mean, I am having the same problem now. I had so many friends while I was pregnant and now none of them are around. I am 22 and my daughter is turning 3. Most of the girls I went to school with have kids and we all talk on Facebook but only there. Most of the people that I know with kids are all young moms like me but they're always partying and things like that and that's not me. I think you should maybe try and find a mommy and me class, maybe there you can find other moms like you. Or maybe even become closer with your step daughter's mom.
