Laura,

Just because you dont feel the baby moving doesnt mean the worse is happening, but never go against your gut, if you feel worried or concerned call you doctor or go straight to an er, they would rather you play it safe and just be a worry wart then to have something happen and ignore it. Of course after 4 weeks of being at the doctors everyday and two overnight stays for continued monitoring they gave up and induced me my doc said she was tired of seeing me all the time LOL

mine slept all day, and was only really awake between 11 pm & 1 in the morning. as long as you feel movements everyday, even if theyre not a ton, the baby is probably fine. ask at your next prenatal checkup

sometimes life gets too busy to even notice a baby moving around in there, they are also just human like us (& i know im def not as active some days as i am others, lol). i would worry sometimes too, my doctor told me to drink something warm and lay on my left side for an hour and do the "kick counts", on average a baby will kick 6-10 times in an hour, if within that first hour it was any less, i was supposed to drink something warm again and repeat the process and if after the second time nothing got better i was supposed to call the doctor. but now, my son is a week old and healthy as can be =]

There was one day that I didn't feel my son move at all. I was really cared too. I went to the Dr and they said everything was fine, he was just resting cause it was pretty close to my due date. Have you watched that show that there are those moms who are in labor and didn't even know they were pregnant? I'd definitely talk to your doctor if you are that concerned.

Yes. I had so many non-stress tests done because I was constantly paranoid in the last few weeks of my pregnancy.

My daughter was exactly the same, i think i only felt her wriggle a few times and rarely any kicking!! at first i panicked but after talking to my midwife she assured me that it was normal. and told me the only time i would need to get checked out was if my bby was active and the became less active!! so I came to terms with the fact that my baby was lazy!! She still is to this day, won't crawl will only bum shuffle, she can stand up but refuses to try walking lol. Shes 14 months! Think she takes after her mummy!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and birth!!x

Some babies are just chill. I had a rather hyperactive baby :) My doctor said it was bc I drank alot of juice and she got a sugar buzz lol. So on days my daughter wasnt moving much, I drank juice so I knew she was ok :) You can always see your doctor if you get concerned. I would say that it sounds ok, but trust your instincts. Moms have killer instincts, even before the baby is born. Congrats on the new addition!!

You might just not be feeling your baby move. I was so worried, because I didn't feel my baby move much. An ultrasound showed that my placenta was anterior (out front). The doctor said that that makes it really hard to feel the baby move unless they are really big movements. My baby was actually moving a ton. I just didn't know he was

Sis you should definitely ask the Dr about it.. Dont stress because it's not good for her or you! I love you and I am sure baby Fhei is GREAT! The last time you went she was healthy.. She is probably just little, n that has alot to do with the amount of movements you feel... I love you Sis n Fhei too...

I will worry because I'm not feeling her... even when I'm feeling her. I just sometimes don't notice because I'm too worried. Then, I realize that some babies are just more active than others (like all kids), and I AM feeling her move, even if her movements aren't all that "strong". I'm only 21 weeks, though... and I tend to worry a lot.

It is very normal, I was a nervous wreck I was at the hospital every few days to get them to check, the funny thing is that on the movement monitor she was moving every few seconds, I just couldn't feel it. How far are you by the way? The thing that used to reassure me was to drink some really cold orange juice, lay on my side and play some loud music to my stomach and wait for the movements. Talk to your doctor about their sleep cycles as well because the times that I got really worried and went to the hospital was usually when she was asleep so they would tell me to wait 40 or so and try the juice thing and it almost always worked. During the last few weeks I found that my movements did decrease quite a lot as well. Good luck with your baby, it's such an exciting time!

I didn't feel my first 2 children much and used to here of people that were put on kick moniters and had forms that they had to record when they feel there baby. I didn't have any of that, however all my children are fine and have been quick on the early development stuff. So has no baring either on how active your baby will be. xx

Oh my god, I know just how you feel, I felt the exact same way throughout my whole entire pregnancy. Every baby is different, and it does get stressful worrying about whether your baby is moving enough or not. Don't let it worry you a lot, I did that and it made things a lot worse, I would frantically run to the hospital if I didn't feel her move for a long time, and I think they became pretty sick of me, lol. They told me to eat a big meal and then kind of lay around and then feel for baby to move, or if that doesn't work, drink something really cold bc that startles the baby and makes it move. But if all fails and it is really starting to worry you, don't ever be afraid to go to the hospital bc they will hook you to monitors and watch the baby. Somedays they move like crazy and other days they don't, and they may even be moving and you just don't feel it. But this anxiety is completely normal, just make sure that you don;t gettoo bent out of shape and stress yourself out bc that is bad for both of you, and don't ever be afrid to call the docotr or er and ask.
