i lost ALOT of hair with my first baby i kept asking my dr if taht was normal she assured me it was, and it did slow down after awhile it did take awhile though i know that doesnt really help :( but i would say if it doesnt get better soon you might need to check with your dr

Mine did the exact same, but my baby is now 7 months, and it JUST STOPPED.

I had the same problem. Doctor told me to take my prenatal vitamins. That worked wonders.

My son is now two and i am still losing my hair!!! It will calm down eventually as i have had it before when i had my daughter who is now 7.When you are pregnant your hair gets alot thick for some reason so now its a case of sheading it as you dont have all those hormones raging round your body now.Don,t panic it will stop but in its own time i,m afraid.

from what im being told its different for everyone try taken some vitamins to people say it helps and it cant hurt thats what imma do my daughter is also three months old . let me know how it goes for ya if you lern anything new about hair loss let me know

I know how you feel! I just had my daughter 3 months ago and my hair is still falling out, i have to sweep my fricken bathroom floor almost everyday! and my drains are all plugged because there is so much hair! haha does anyone know when this will stop?

yea thats another thing iv noticed my fingernails are spliting down the middle they have never done that and just the other day i notice that my toe nails are doing the same not that i let them grow long or anything but yea lol thanks jessica i will get some vitamins , and thank you adrienne that helps alot makes me feel better i dont take any vitamins at all and my mom always gets on me about it i guess its starting to show that i do need them so imma get my butt to the store and take some i just hope it stops im so suprized im not balled yet if i do go balled i guess imma have to ware alot of cute hats huh lol :)

I would just start a typical women's vitamin supplement. Think of it this way...it can't hurt! Vitamins are a good thing, all around. I use the One A Day Women's formula, and I've seen a change in not just my hair, nails and skin, but my over-all well being. If its a problem with protein, my doctor told me that all I had to do was look at my fingernails. Since both are essentially protein, if one is looking bad, chances are the other is, too. Maybe try eating foods that are higher in protein.

This is normal. Most people have this same issue. Some people just lose more than others and the darker your hair the more it shows.(Especially in the drain of your shower) During pregnancy your body releases hormones that keep your hair from falling out. So during pregnancy a lot of women notice thicker hair. After pregnancy your body gets rid of the excess hair. Since you got pregnant back to back your body probably didnt have time to release the extra hair so you are releasing your hair from 2 pregnancies. But I will also tell you stress will make your hair fall out too. So if you are really stressed out that could be a contributing factor as well. You can always use woman's rogain if it concerns you but I would not use that unless you notice spots of hair gone or a receading hairline. The down side with using rogain is that once you stop using it the fine hairs that you gained will fall out as well. Hope I helped :)

i talked to them about it when i had my son and they just kinda blew me off like it just happends get over it. my mom and my sister say that i just need to take some vitamins ..but what vitamins do you think would help with that?

My daughter is 19 months old and I'm STILL losing alot of hair! It happens after you give birth, and while they say that it usually lets up within 6 months or so, there must be exceptions to the rule. Did you talk to your doctor about vitamin or protein supplements? Maybe because you had two babies so close together, it's possible you may be deficient in terms of nutrition. Its not easy running around after 2 little ones! Just make sure you take good care of yourself.
