I'm 5 weeks pregnant and when I wake up in the mornings I feel nauseous and can not eat until around noon. And my appetite still isn't what it used to be. I'm worried that I'm going to harm my baby. Has anyone else been through this?

In my first trimester of pregnancy I went through the same thing. I had the feeling of being nauseous but i never actually threw up. And i completely lost my appetite. But once i entered my second trimester my appetite came back. Just be sure to continue taking your prenatal vitamin.

I know how you feel. I couldn't eat any meat for months. The only thing I could keep down at one point were scrambled eggs and they had to be scrambled. Just the smell of meat or something bad made my stomache empy. Sometime it empied when I thought there was nothing in there to come out. But your baby should be fine. Babies are made to be able to do though that. And don't worry, it will stop. Mine stoped at 3 or 4 months.

No you're not going to hurt your baby by not eating as much. Eventually your appetite will return in full force :) For now, just make sure you are eating healthy things when you DO eat. Your baby is not going to be in nutritional trouble unless YOU are. It is even quite common for pregnant women to lost a few pounds in the first trimester due to morning sickness.

I had that same problem and I would get sick,I lost a good amount of weight with my last pregnancy. If your not feeling too sick there are ensure drinks so your at least getting vitamins and nutrients. I know it's hard but sometimes you need to force yourself to eat for the baby. Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel. I was sick every single day of my pregnancy! The last time I threw up was the morning I delivered him at 6:30 and I had him at 7:10! If there are certain things that you can eat that will stay down make sure to keep that by you at all times so that moment of opportunity when your not wrapped around a toilet! Eat as much of it as you can and drink alot of fluids! I lost weight during my pregnancy and only gained 11 pounds but my beautiful little boy was born perfectly healthy weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces. So dot stress over it bc the baby is getting everything you eat!!

I lost a significant amount of weight when I was pregnant. I was overweight to begin with but as long as the baby is growing, it's getting what it needs! By the time I had her, I was only eating once or twice a day and that was forcing it down and she came out a healthy 7 lbs 14 oz :)
