I really dont know why I'm cramping at 7 months pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea, I get a lot of menstual like cramps and horrible lower back cramps. It feels like I'm on my period.

If you're 7 months pregnant and cramping it could be Braxton-Hicks...but I would call your OB asap. I had Braxton-Hicks since I was like 28 weeks along, and had my son at 36 weeks.

Make sure that you are drinking the recommened amount of water cause that can cause you to get cramping . If you are then cramping at 7 months pregnant could be braxton Hicks practice contractions for labor and yes they can be painful.

Sounds like Braxton Hicks to me. Talk to your OB at your next visit, but if you are worried just call his/her office and tell the receptionist/nurse what is going on and she will ask the doctor and call you back and tell you whether they think you need to come in or not. One good thing about having alot of BH is that it means your uterus is getting in shape for labor and your labor will likely be shorter and less work because of it.

I agree that you should let your OB know because of the possible early labor but my braxton hicks contractions were unusually very painful. It's better to be safe than sorry though so just give them a ring.

Being 7 months pregnant and cramping can also be bladder infection it gives exactly the same pains as labour, u should check it out, in labour your tummy will also get so hard u would be able to feel your muscles pulling together

When I was seven months I was in pain all the time. Not only did I have cramps, but my feet and legs always hurt. Everything was fine during my pregnancy though. But if you are too worried go see your OB.

Sound's like your have braxton hicks, you might have some back labor. I also agree with Amie that you should go see ob just to make sure it's not early labor.

Sounds like braxton hicks. You can get braxton hicks very early on in your pregnancy. But, I am no doctor, I would talk to your doctor about being 7 months pregnant and cramping! Good luck!

yeah, otherwise UTI's can cause the same thing to happen... and for me in pregnancy the ONLY symptom I would get of it WAS the cramping.. so I'd definately talk to your doctor and just have them check up on you.. it could only be braxton hicks, but I'd better be safe than sorry

I would go in to see your OB. Cramps like that could be a possibility of early labor. BUT, there are also braxton hicks contractions (but aren't usually horrible or painful). I am not trying to scare you, but check with your OB to make sure everything is ok. We are not doctors here and every pregnancy is different, even if we all experience similar things. They could be for different reasons. Good luck!

Sounds like braxton hicks. You can get braxton hicks very early on in your pregnancy. But, I am no doctor, I would talk to your doctor about being 7 months pregnant and cramping! Good luck!
