Hello, My son's name is Harrison and he is 9 weeks old. He was 10 1/2 lbs when he was born and is 16 lbs today!! I feel like I can never keep him full enough and when I nurse him he wants more! I was wondering if any of you moms feel me pain and if you introduced mixing cereal with formula or breast milk earlier than 4-6 months.

My son was also very big. However, before you start him on anything else consult his dr. Nine weeks is early to start cereal. I only say this bc his little stomach is not ready to digest it, and starting that early can lead to allergies. My son is allergic to soy and dairy, you do not want to have to deal with it. If you have a lactation consultant at you local hospital she would also be a great resouce. The one in my town was wonderful while I nursed my very butter ball.
