I'm 32 weeks pregnant and my baby weights 6pounds already! This my 3rd pregnancy and c-section. I'm still worry because I don't know what's going on why is he gaining so much weight! I don't have diabetes or preeclampsia! Thank God!

Drs guesses arent always right, my doc said my daughter was going to be 5lbs a few days before i had her, let me tell you she was 8.5lbs. And they said my son was going to be bigger and he was only 7.4 so they cant tell until he comes out.

Doctors can guess on how many pounds a baby is, but from my experience they were wrong. With my first baby, doctors told me she was going to be a huge baby 8.5 - 9lbs+ so i was freaking out the last couple weeks. When my daughter was born she was only 7lbs 10oz. So don't worry :)

My baby was born at 34 weeks. My water broke at 32 weeks. They told me at 32 weeks that she was 4lb 11oz. I don't think it's a bad thing. You got a healthy baby. And plus their growth slows down at the end of your pregnancy, well that's what I've been told. Congrats!

My doctor told my my son was "normal" and "right on target" for his growth rate.... He was born at 38 weeks via c-section because he was 10 pounds 13 ounces and there was NO way a 17inch head would fit through a 10 inch hole. Doctor's don't know everything.

i know how u feel, i never really got an estimate at how much number 3 was gonna be but i was massive, he was 9pound 12ounces (big boy) i had him all natural standing up (they say it works for gravity) and i didnt tear...i was so scared to have another one but we wanted a girl (another boy lol) and he was 8pound 12 ounces...u will be fine babies are usually made to fit through, pregnancy and birth is so amazing and i know u probably feel big and fat but ur allowed to be!!! enjoy it and stay positive, it work out fine!! :)

My daughter was 10lbs when born and yes it is completely miserable and unfortunately it only gets worse from there up until you have your little bundle of joy. The bright side is big babies are happy babies...=) good luck

yeah my son was just over 5lbs @ 32 weeks at 37 they said he weighed just under 9lbs but when he was born @ 38 weeks he only weighed 7lbs 10 ounces so they arent 100% accurate

During my entire pregnancy, my doctor kept telling me that my baby was measuring much larger than he should have been. They told me that he would be at least 8-8 1/2 pounds when he was born. Then at my very last doctor's appointment, they said that his measurements were right on target. The doctor told me that sometimes (especially with boys) they see an enormous growth rate early on that tapers off toward the end. My son was 6 lbs 13 oz when he was born.

Every week at church I have two different women asking me if I'm sure that I'm not having twins because apparently I look that enormous. Needless to say that doesn't make me too happy. Like everybody says the weight they give is just an estimate and all babies grow differently so you don't have to be terrified of having a 10 pound baby to push out.

When I was pregnant, one doctor told me that I was going to be lucky if I had a baby that was 6 lbs at birth bc I was so small. At 35 wks I had an ultrasound and found out my baby was 7.5 lbs! I was soo suprised and fairly worried that I was going to have a c section based on her weight. She was born naturally a healthy 7 lbs 15 oz. Weight on the baby is good as long as you dont have gestational diabetes...anyway, doctors can only guess the baby's weight. I know it is VERY uncomfy but be happy that you have ahealthy baby and take it easy. Its a great reason to make others do chores for you :)

Well I'm 34 weeks with twins, and they're both 6 lbs already! My doc is guessing they'll be around 7 or 8 lbs each! Thats 16 lbs of baby, so trust me, I know how being miserable feels! :) Better to have them be healthy tho! :)

At 33 weeks I had an ultrasound that said my son was 6 lbs 12 oz.. he was born January 13th and weighed 9 lbs 3 oz. I am a very tiny girl, 5 foot 1, and delivered my son naturally. The doctor had to use forceps and he had to cut me. I had an epidural for the labor part but they shut it off for pushing. I pushed for two hours so I basically had him drug free. I promise the pushing part goes by quickly. Don't worry about it though because your son weighs less than mine did then and ultrasounds can sometimes be wrong.

With me the doctor estimated she would be between 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 pounds, and she came out 8.3 so doctors are usually wrong I would say. I think the last month is the hardest cause the baby is so big and you have all that extra weight to carry, just keep in mind how wonderful it will be when the baby finally arives.

I can pretty much guarantee that my daughter was at least 5 lbs at 32 weeks. She was born 9 lbs 4oz. I'm not big, and neither is my hubby (I'm 5'7", 135lbs and my hubs is 6', 200 lbs). She is not a fat baby by any stretch, she has always been very proportional. And she was born almost two weeks early, so, you are not alone!

Well doctors can make those guesses, but they are usually off. My second and third were estimated to be at the heavier end of 8 pounds, or even more than 9 pounds. They were all three in the 7 pound range. So just enjoy what's left and eat healthy. :)
