I am a 23 year old stay home mother, my fiance' is in the military and I am a first time mom raising twins Zade and Zane. They are my world but it does get very hard raising two newborns at the same time with no help at the moment. Is there anything I can do that you guys would suggest. I have literally slept only 10 hours in the past week :(

i dont have twins but i have a 1 yr old and a 2yr old that are 16months apart :) and my sisters are twins so i have been told that having them this close together is very similar to having twins especially at night time when one wakes and the other falls alseep finally lol. do you have any family that can come help for a day each week?.or a evening each week just untill you can establish a more solid sleeping routine for the twins? maybe you could offer a payment and dinner? or even just dinner.i did alot of reaching out for help when my second was born as i had a newborn and a toddler so during the night the newborn needs you the most and during the day the toddler needs you the most and wants you too run around and play and give attention etc. lol. i read a great book on how to train my bubs to sleep through the night and it totally worked for me it involves controlled crying after a certain age maybe you could find a method that suites you, which gives you something to work towards.another suggestion is day-care.....i know this may sound strange and intimidating when they are so young and since you dont work etc but if there is no one to give you a break then i think that this is an excellent idea. just 1day a week.you can be picky with what day-care you use and even call the councill and ask how to go about finding out what daycares have the best reviews etc. but it will give you one day! which will keep you sane! it will give you time to sleep and to get a little done.when you enroll in a daycare you usually go for a half day the first day and meet all the lovely qualified carers and talk alot about your childs routine the you sit back while they look after your bub and you are there to observe and to let them know certain ways you want your babies to be cared for in different ways (you may want your breastmilk or formula heated up in a bowl of water instead of the microwave and the will follow the rules you put down for your babies) anyway i hope you will have a think about it now. take care and best of luck

I am 22 five months in pregnacy with twins and Im nervous. I have a two yr old little girl. I dont know what to expect any advice??

I was in the same boat almost 6 years ago, now they are Kindergartners and they are soulmates for life. It is great. The newborn stage is crazy though, all I can say is take it day by day. It will get easier.
What gender are your twins? I can't tell by those names.
